This could've gone better, but hell I'll take this over how season 2 of the webtoon ended. So 8.0/10 for me.
Can you spoil the ending in the webtoon for me? I want to read it now that the show is over to fill the void it left in me, but tbh the manhwa bored me a bit around the start of that season 2
I'm happy with the ending, but I agree I wanted to see what happened in the future/present. I assume he was left in a coma and then died, I mean, it's not that hard to guess, but some visual would have been nice. I wish Worradej had another chance, but well, he was already dead so there was no really a choice for him. Still, it would have been nice if he'd had another chance where they traded bodies or something. I just can't describe how sad I feel for Worradej. To me, he was the best character but also the most deceived, he deserved so much better. He died at the hands of the love of his life. At least he completed his mission with Prince's help, but I still feel so bad and achy for him (and what's with Nut's ghost characters that are always this perfect?🤧)
I really hope there's a special episode cause I need more from them. I'm gonna miss this show so so much. Everyone did an incredible job.
I have no words to describe the slayage, Nut is just superior in everything. You know what’s the best thing about him, that he sees it as a performance- as a form of art - not in the typical joking "I cross-dressed as a woman" way, but in a way that shows he knows he nailed it while still being very respectful about it.
I have no idea what's going to happen anymore. My theory before this episode was that Kosol would die during the fight with somdet and then Prince would return to the present, but now I'm completely lost. I feel like the ending is gonna make me bawl my eyes out, whether from happiness or sadness. There's no way Prince goes back without dying in one of their eras. I thought my preferred ending would be Prince finding the future Kosol, but right now I just want them to stay with the past Kosol. Everything is confusing and complicated and I don't want this to end.
isn't it the norm for many BL series? why do you hate it?
I think it's funny how different our opinions can be, because I'm on the opposite side lol. I've been yearning for a love triangle where the ml actually has a hard time choosing between his two love interests, and I think this is the closest case I've seen so far. However, I think Prince wasn't even considering Banjong, it was just physical desire in the moment. I wish they had played it a bit riskier, but I understand it's very difficult in bl world so they had to play it safe.
Seeing the auntie in the past made me realize it's very possible we will have a happy ending with Kosol reincarnated and reunited with Prince in the future (and I also wonder if Banjong is gonna appear there). I'm really excited to see that.
What I like about Kosol and Banjong's relationship is that they respect and acknowledge each other both as allies (in war) and rivals (for Worradej's love). I love how Kosol is actually worried about Banjong, right up until Worradej starts taking care of him and Kosol gets jealous because Banjong is definitely taking advantage of the situation, lol.
I totally get Kosol's feelings tho, cause he doesn't know this Worradej is not og Worradej, so he thinks this Worradej is still the same one who was in love with Banjong, so he may be having flashbacks of when Worradej used to reject his love in favor of Banjong. That scene where he looks at them holding hands -chef's kiss. I love these three actors, they're my favorite trio.
Prince, my darling, you need to speak up. You talk so much but can't say no to Banjong 🤦🏼♀️. And now that he's saved your life, it's just going to get worse.
My only complaint is that after the swoony love confession in the previous episode, I wanted to see KosolPrince being lovey dovey before they had their first fight. I know they don't have much time since they're in the middle of a revolution, but a couple's quarrel right after getting together feels like they're depriving us of some cute moments.
THIS!! I totally agree. The plot, the pace, the storytelling, the music, colour pallete, everything is beautifully…
I cant even start to describe how much I love Nut's acting. He's a man who has shown he can make you laugh, make you cry, and make you angry. I once read a comment that stuck with me because it perfectly described how I feel when I watch his shows, something along the lines of not even seeing him just as an actor playing a role, but rather seeing his characters coming to life as if they truly existed.
I loved this episode with all my heart. It was beautiful, just the right amount of romance we needed.
The confession scene, I'm going to be replaying that one forever. Prince's "I found a person who loves me for who I am" destroyed me 😭😭😭 at the end, both Worradej and Prince only want to be understood and free to be themselves. And Kosol during that entire scene, how he looked so sad because Prince was going to ignore his question again. I have to talk about Ping's acting here, because I loved how he portrayed the 'heartbroken one with a one-sided love'. I loved his expressions there, that man was hurt, and it took that scene to the next level.
The nc scene was 🫣, well they never disappoint. I absolutely love Prince's wit, they always take the chance and never waste any time, lol. Supanut's kisses are, as always, so pretty.
Pop is also acting so well that, for a few moments, I actually felt bad for his character. Banjong, it would be easier to root for you if you hadn’t tried to kill Worradej twice 😓 (though I’m glad you did, because if you were a good guy it would be hard to choose who's the better match for Worradej). But Pop is so cool he makes me sympathize with his character, even when that character has made bad choices.
On the negative side, I'm a little sad for the people from that village, what do you mean they're all dead? 😭 They were so happy that night. I wish at least Phai had made it.
If there's one thing I still need, it's more flashbacks of og Worradej. I want to see him with Jade, I assume he was really kind to him (like Prince is), otherwise Jade wouldn't be so attached to his original master. I also want to see more of Kosol's protectiveness toward Worradej, I can imagine that when shy Worradej tried to share his ideas with the group, Kosol would always back him up.
I read a comment saying everyone in this series is shining, and I agree. I remember some bitter asses complaining about Nut's protagonism saying the series was too focused on him or some bs. Of course he’s the star, but the whole cast is doing so well with their characters. And their face cards? omg, everyone in this series is hot.
not me out here shipping banjong with kosol lmao, and jade and chaiyached is giving pairing but idk, aton is too…
Banjong and Kosol have some weird chemistry going on, can't help shipping them a little either. I think Lee isn't that old ? But yeah aton is a baby. I don't really see a problem if they just play a little innocent pair in the series but then people may start shipping them in rl and that's where I see the problem.
The scene with Banjong and Prince was madness, I was laughing my ass off at Prince’s expressions. She/they was literally one of us watching that scene 😂.
And I love how Prince actually got Banjong enamoured 😂. The thing Worradej wanted the most (and that k*lled him 🥹), Prince got it in the short time they’ve been in the past 😂.
My poor Worradej 🥹 I feel so bad for him and for Prince, both suffering because of their identity in the past and present.
I can’t with Banjong’s audacity. Maybe I’m too much of an Aquarius to forgive and forget someone who betrayed me. After the war ends (if they ever win), I hope Worradej or Prince get some revenge.
These last few weeks I’ve noticed that the manager is also going to travel to the past somehow (is she the lady in the opening, right?). I wonder how that’s gonna turn out.
In their defence, Prince forgave him not Woradech...
I do hope Prince plays with Banjong's feelings and then leaves him heartbroken, he has to take accountability at some point. Tbh I'm so angry at him lol.
Classic webtoon fans who's hating on the series because they can't accept that it's actually good despite not…
"Nut is a horrible actor" yeah, your point is lost 😂 just say you don’t like him and go home.
Btw, Nut himself is one of the - and I put very big emphasis on this - VERY FEW actors who are out and part of the community in an industry full of actors who pretend gay for money. Just say you don’t like that he’s actually gay and not a perfect fake fantasy one. He also refers to himself as both genders. There’s no mocking in portraying a character whose gender is close to the one you identify with in real life.
This episode was filled with a lot of everything, but the second half absolutely killed it. I loved the sequence of scenes from the past, I think that was my favorite part.
Nut as Worradej is everything. I love that we can see the difference between both characters: the delicacy of Worradej and the contrast between him and Prince. I just adore how Supanut portrayed both characters in a way that you can tell their differences just by looking at them, even though they look alike.
Okay, so someone intended to frame Worradej because I don't believe he betrayed his team, since he seemed so disappointed and sad when he got rejected by them. At first, I was thinking of Banjong, maybe because he wanted to get rid of Worradej (since he obviously had some sort of feelings for him and maybe wanted to push those away). BUT after seeing the ending, it seems he's kind of relieved that Worradej is not a traitor, so now I don't know who to suspect. I’m thinking maybe it could have been the sister, because she obviously dislikes Worradej a lot, but I’m not sure she’s that evil. I don’t like the idea of her being the evil mastermind, but she seems like the most suspicious person right now.
Banjong is now catching feelings, or maybe feels relieved about the ones he already had, because now he knows Worradej is not a traitor in the end. I don’t know how to feel about this, as I was shipping them before, but now I’m riding on team Kosol and I don’t trust Banjong anymore.
And Kosol is obviously confused since Worradej’s been doing too much for him these days 😅 He’s like “so what are we?” 😭 Lmao. And Prince has no idea how to respond anymore, so just straight up bangs with him 😂
I feel like in the next episode we may see both Banjong and Kosol fighting for Worradej, since it seems like Banjong wrote another damn poem 😂. Kosol is more hooked than ever, that man looked like he was in paradise (and I don’t blame him). They both seem to have fallen deeper after seeing the diva ruling the fire challenge, lmao.
One thing I know from this series is, Pop and Lee are underrated actors. They're good but less explored. Hope…
Yeah both are doing pretty well in this show. They're underrated because they don't have a ship, sadly in this industry you don't succeed if you don't feed delulu. I don't even like them as a pair, (don't really see the chemistry and don't like how people wanna force ships on both on them) but like them both as individuals. I'm more into Pop cause glasses are my weakness but Lee's characterization as Jade is adorable. Wish people appreciated actors for their individuality more often.
This episode was really good and worth rewatching (I'm on my third rewatch since someone pointed out about the theory of color or something like that so I wanted to watch in detail). Anyway, I'm cracking myself up with the edits I'm seeing on tt and people talking about their scenes in jail which according to some take about the 80% of this episode. I knew they were going to be trouble the moment I saw the preview from last week and they didn't disappoint. I just love the sequence of scenes, first when they all go to visit Kosol through bribing the guard, and then one by one got stuck voluntarily on jail along with Kosol 😂 the one that cackled me the most was Jade, the face that Worradej made when their servant followed them to jail 😂 what a loyal servant (but the thing with the king confused me a bit, so who's really his boss now? Lmao).
Worradej is everything. I love their facial expressions, to some it may seem exaggerated and that's the reason I hope next episode (according to the preview) we're going to see a more clever side of them. But they're sooo gorgeous and I have to repeat some of the escenes just to appreciate their facial expressions.
There's this thing I wanted to point out since last episode that Idk if it makes sense or I'm crazy but I feel amazed by Nut's dual acting skills because when he is Prince you can feel more chemistry with Kosol, I mean obvs, but the scenes with og Worradej do seem more pointed to a chemistry with Banjong, that's why I was shipping them until what happened last ep (fu Banjong). But yeah, I bet for sure that's intentional on Nut's side (man is eeeverything).
Btw did anyone else noticed that Worradej and Banjong share the same ring? What does the green stone mean?
About Banjong I'm still hesitant. I don't like him anymore (even tho he's hot). Yeah I have a long ass rant about Banjong as well, I didn't like the way he just went "I shoot Worradej because I had to" and cried over it. Like BFR 🙄. And then when he sees W in jail and pretends he doesn't know sht... Man is manipulator master level. And Kosol isn't having it, btw I'm curious about the story between these two because they seem to know much and forgive much 🤨
Jade is winning me over and so the rest of the public. He was adorable in that scene he followed Worradej to jail and bring him food (LMAO) and then got himself jailed forgetting about his new (?) master 😂
Ok, that was my long ass rant for now, I will continue rewatching.
Undoubtedly the most entertaining and enjoyable show of the year, and a historical drama at that! So much is going…
spoiler (kinda?) ahead...
I don't know if they're gonna tell their story in the series but it has to do with their origins, they're half brothers and well basically the king (their father) choose chayachert's mom as queen consort, ended up with kosol's mom hating him and the whole mess between the brothers started (at least that's what I got from the translation I read)
help, i cant stop shipping jade with worradej, and the preview of the next ep is fueling my delulu.
Lmaooo, I didn't expect to ship them but this episode and next week's preview fueled my delulu too. When Woradej was trying to fall asleep, the face that Jade made, what the hell was that face??? Gratitude? Love? 😩
I really hope there's a special episode cause I need more from them. I'm gonna miss this show so so much. Everyone did an incredible job.

I love how it’s always either Worradej or Prince saving the day 😂 they’re both iconiccc.
The jealousy scenes were my absolute favorite. I love the jealousy, charge me guilty for that. Banjong is bad, and I love it.
I'm a sucker for some love triangle stuff. I even like Banjong with Kosol and something tells me Kosol wouldn't mind 🫣
And I love how Prince actually got Banjong enamoured 😂. The thing Worradej wanted the most (and that k*lled him 🥹), Prince got it in the short time they’ve been in the past 😂.
