Oh thank goodness someone else feels this way! I put it on hold months ago and while going through my hold list thought maybe I’d try it again. But I can’t do it. I don’t think I’m the right age group. I have no problem with zombies, horror, thrillers whatever, but my god those kids annoyed me. Every single one of them could die and I’d be fine with it.

You might be taking it too seriously but that’s ok. Had I not watched the first 2 season, I’d probably feel the same way because I wouldn’t understand who Yumi is.

You definitely shouldn’t skip them. they explain her behaviors in a very relatable way. The first season it took me a couple episodes to fully get it, but then I fell in love with them. they’re perfect.

Those are my exact thoughts too. He already likes her. He just doesn’t know how to navigate that and she just doesn’t recognize it yet. Can’t wait for next week!!!

Oh well that makes perfect sense then. Of course because she played a male character for 1-2 episodes a few years ago, it’s only natural one would be confused. My apologies, clearly I didn’t think it through.

I really hope we get some good wins and reveals soon. As much as I love this drama, we need something to more forward and really put that witch CEO in her place. And just f*cking tell JH already about…..everything! Good god that’s annoying me.

First we have to hope Seo Rin doesn’t wake up with amnesia that lasts 15-20 episodes. Cause she can’t stop a wedding if she can’t remember why she should care.

But there’s no real evidence the dads phone was in the CEOs safe though. It’s all word of mouth. She said she said but worse because the evidence was also tampered with. There’s not much to stand on with that. The video was the best they had and most definitely worth arguing in court. But apparently a random dude walking in random places was enough to free her 😂

@BTS.. were you not in the comment section while the episodes were dropping? He was on everyone’s radar! This whole drama was clear from the start. It was either going to be the photographer friend or the rich creeper. The drama did very little to sway the viewers to even look in a different direction. I’ve never seen the Japanese version which seems to have had an actual twist involved but because those comments floated around those like myself had hope it was someone else, someone not in our face saying look at me I’m the obsessive killer!
But if you need an early episode win 🏆 congratulations.

To your point about it being predictable and that making sense. I’d have to disagree. Calling a drama a mystery thriller doesn’t mean it needs constant twists and shocking moments. But it does need them at some point. Everyone was questionable because we needed them to be. We all knew who it was but most of us thought certainly there would be some sort of mystery involved because it can’t possibly be that predictable so early on. Unfortunately, it was though. There was no mystery and no thrill and for a mystery thriller genre, that’s not really going to work out well for most viewers who love the genre. However, this does seem to have worked for the people who love romance whenever and however they can get it. Regardless of it really fits or not.

This drama wasn’t even trying to hide who the killer was though. We all thought it was him. Most of us were just hoping for something a bit more…mysterious maybe? Something not so obvious. Something thrilling with more substance?
This drama missed the mark.

Her photographer friend was the murderer. He’s also the one who set the fire at her home that killed her parents. She thought she did it as a kid because she attempted it but instead the zippo didn’t work and she passed out, he then showed up and set the fire. His reason was to get her the insurance money which his mom set up as her parents agent. Dude was just a delusional weirdo which wasn’t surprising.

The unintentional comedy has me coming back too. I can’t say this is a good drama by any stretch but it’s oddly entertaining so I can’t say it’s terrible either.

3 is more likely to happen if she wakes up with amnesia, which unfortunately is a favorite trope with kdrama writers.

This drama is still failing as a mystery/ thriller genre. The only thing shocking is the rating. How can this possibly still sit at an 8?
