So this is my 4th daily drama. Queens House, The Women Who Swallowed The Sun, A Graceful Liar and now this one. I’ve never watched any form of daily soap operas before Queens House aired so I’m not sure how things usually unfold.
So with all that said. When will the CEO witch get her downfall? Like around what episode do you all think her decline will start? She keeps coming out on top and it’s frustrating. She knows everything way before anyone else. She needs a reality check and soon.
Ok why don’t the Kang brothers know that Baek Ho was adopted? I mean clearly Jun Ho has a misunderstanding. He’s mentioned not being their real son which is why he feels Baek Ho has privileges, multiple times. But he’s never once been corrected when saying it. I wonder why it’s some big secret in their family?
No because these SHORTER 2-9 Ep kdramas always existed even during 16-20 ep era, this is not a sign of general…
The problem with the 16-20 format was the excessive filler content. There was always a few episodes worth of scenes that just didn’t matter to the storyline at all. The problem with the shorter formats is they forgot we don’t need filler content and still add it. The writers need to pull it together.
This is a normal 6 - 30 min format though and so far seems to be fine content wise.
She does, it comes in a “damsel in distress” type package but she does get better.
I don’t think she’s as bad as she was in the first couple episodes. But I think it’s the way they wrote her character. I don’t know why she has to be so damn obnoxious all the time. It’s my biggest complaint about this drama and I don’t see her as funny at all. but in the last episode, I didn’t find her to be as annoying so I hoping we’ve turned a corner.

For this drama, I think it’s the use of AI. There are people who will downvote when AI is used. I agree though that this site is pretty bad with downvoting and even upvoting. People will do it for the oddest reasons. Like some will rate a 10 while criticizing the plot and admitting a drama is flawed but because the love a lead, they’ll give it a 10. The same for when they hate an actor, they’ll rate it 1. Or if it’s not a romance it’s automatically rated lower. MDL is a good tool for keeping track of your watched dramas and occasionally interacting with others. But as a source for what’s good or bad out there, its way too subjective. You can’t judge a drama based on MDL ratings at all because people have a hard time being objective on here.
This was a fun first episode though. I dig it. Looking forward to what happens.

Honestly, I think the casting was so perfect that too many of us knew it was him the moment he was shown on screen. Like ah yep, it’ll be him. The writers did a good job at causing confusion and misdirection but he could never be ruled out until we saw the face.

This whole comment is spot on. Seriously though, the SIL and the daughter can’t possibly be that far apart in age. How on earth did the SIL even know of the person connected to the missing daughter? She was entirely too young to even remember her sister let alone some random person connected. None of that made sense but I guess that’s just how this drama is gonna roll.
I know that Junho is a bad person, but I feel bad for him, maybe I think he will end very bad. His caracther was…
He did know love though, he spent the last 20 odd years being loved by his parents and brother. The writers are going for the Nature vs Nurture debate and in Jun Hos case, Nature is winning. I don't feel bad for him at all.

The writers turned them into such one dimensional characters. They are so boring with their one track minds and repetitive conversations. At this point, even Hong Ju has more depth. So might as well go all the way with it. Take that obsession in the direction it could really go and that’s killing someone over it or at least inflicting serious harm. Jang Mi taking the brunt of it will only make CEO witch happy so it has to be Seo Rin to keep things spicy.
Prof definitely deserves to be killed off too though, hes lame and annoying.
