SWL is going to suffer a lot too! From the time GT resigns , all the years they spend apart ..both of them suffer a lot . For GT its emotional and physical pain and for SWL, the realisation of losing the person whom he thought would stay by his side always hits harder and the separation hurts him immensely!

SW & GT have known each other for over a decade.
From GT ‘s perspective it’s clear that he likes SW a lot despite the rude behaviour SW displays more often than not.
Diving into SW ‘s personality, it’s clear that he is a shrewd , ambitious entrepreneur who clearly wants to succeed professionally. Personally, he has had issues with his parents and his dislike for Omegas mostly stems from the toxic relationship he witnessed between his parents . GT for him has always been that one constant whose presence makes him feel comfortable because he feels everyone else gets close to him due to money and power. GT is a beta friend whom he relies a lot on but he doesn’t like to admit that sort of dependency. He is constantly jealous when he smells omega scent on GT and that makes him lash out . He doesn’t spend time understanding his feeling because he thinks he is not interested in love or marriage!
I feel his breaking point was when GT resigns. He is confused , angry and feels betrayed because he misunderstands the situation entirely and thought GT resigned and left him to take care of his omega partner.
After GT cuts off contact from him entirely , he relentlessly searches for him and never gives up the hope of finding and reuniting with GT one day!
When GT gets pregnant with SW’s child , he casually asks SW one day about what he would do if he got an omega pregnant, and SW without much thought replies he would abort. This is the major miscommunication and turning point in their entire relationship! GT runs away from SW as far as he can to protect the child without revealing the truth to SW.
SW suffers for many years too, since he is unable to find GT , he still dislikes omega but that rule doesn’t apply to GT , he just wants to find him and is ready to give GT anything he wants like love , money , marriage etc.,
Both suffer a lot to be honest so it’s sort of unfair to dislike SW so much .

So SW ‘s life is not hunky dory and he suffers a lot too!!!
