me too. The pacing and the dates were just boring and pointless

People really need to get a grip and touch some grass. It's not that deep. Stop getting so attached. They aren’t truly reflective of everything that’s going on. There’s a lot of editing and selective storytelling/narrative involved. Also, they don't show us everything - they have 24/7 hours in a day and only show us 1 hour of their time. The cast probably talks off-screen, too, which we don’t see.
Sometimes these shows are staged or scripted, too. It’s important not to get too caught up in overanalyzing their every move as you know them because these shows often blur the line between reality and entertainment. It’s meant to be enjoyed for what it is, not taken too seriously.

I was only joking with that statement. I just want to watch the first shot cause it seemed interesting, but we got to know some of what happened from the first shoot since the cast has been telling us bits here and there.
Scary world we live in, where it's so easy to find people. I also remember a time where I think a journalist/ reporter said something awful to a kpop group, and people immediately found out who he was and sent death threats

What I mean is that they should have put an emoji on his face. Cover his face or blur his face so that we can enjoy the show. Because Re-editing the whole thing to remove the problematic guy would be a lot more work.

I was only joking around about the emoticons. If you watched TogetHer, the Korean lesbian show, they edited the problematic person, but it was so noticeable and annoying that people dropped the show. They didn't want this to happen again, so a reshoot is better. It doesn't matter what the problematic person (what's done is done) did because anything a person does in Korea is immediately cancelled/ostracized.

They told us in the show who the original couple was. Were you even watching???? They told us many times that JaeHa and Hyeonjun were a couple and broke up for the reshoot.

I just wish that they could have put an emoticon 🤪😌 on the problematic guy's face so that I could watch the first shot. We honestly do not know what the problematic guy did, and I think we will never know.

But calls don't need to be set in stone. A call can mean nothing sometimes ...some call because of first impression, gratitude, it doesn't mean feelings all the time.

Why do I feel as though Taichi (or maybe even Sumin) might have called YJ? ......Why would HJ, who said to him during the chess scene, "that I am 70-80 percent into Sunwook", decide to call YJ? Doesn't make sense. HJ will call Sunwook.
This is because, since YJ pulls in the viewers, maybe this is just the editing team doing their job and trying to reel in the people to watch the show. You know to build SUSPENSE and keep the audience guessing.

hahaha you're so correct... nothing meaningful...... I think YJ felt a bit pressured/overwhelmed/a bit desperate (due to Sunwook and Hyeokjin) that he totally forgot about getting to know the person. YJ seems sweet, but HJ knows nothing else besides that. That's why HJ wants to go on a date with YJ to see if there is a tiki taka type of chemistry between them, as well as removing any doubt he has with Sunwook.

Also, YJ was talking a lot about chats, gifts, how he feels (which is a good thing to express your feelings and glad he did it, just like Jaeha suggested) .... but YJ didn't bother to even try to ask questions about HJ, "like what you do for fun", for eg. YJ kept reiterating the same thing over and over again. YJ didn’t do anything wrong (even though YJ thinks he did something to change HJ's mind/feelings), but I think HJ already knew what he wanted, and it wasn’t about YJ not being proactive enough.

Agree, but also the second time he asked to hold hands. I was like, YJ, cool down. It felt way too forced, and YJ is trying to appeal to HJ in every possible way. You can clearly see that HJ is very uncomfortable/not interested. Also, It seems that HJ cannot say no to someone outright. ( Maybe that his personality/ being a bit nice/ he knows he is on TV / doesn't want to hurt YJ's feelings)- something along those lines.

Gosh. You put everything I wanted to say. Nice 👍 I also felt uncomfortable that I had to watch that part at 2x speed.

Chemistry is subjective. Yes at first we were excited because its a new pair but after seeing them together for the 1st ep people have decided if they have chemistry or not. The way they looked at each other on the tight rope looked like they had no chemistry. Poon looks at him in awe but I don't see the heart love eyes/attraction in his eyes♥️👀 if that makes sense. Maybe he didn't portray this correctly. And ohm just stood there. It was supposed to be a nice meet cute but felt let down with that. It's not hate just a different opinion from yours.

Thank you for saying this. I also saw the chemistry and was rooting for them. I also believe that Fifa needs to work on his acting/facial expressions. People are judging him so harshly due to fans being salty that their ship, PungCopper, didn't work out.
DMD editing choices were poor this season, and I'm really starting to dislike them for that.
Agree, I think we may need those special unreleased footage just so people can see what we saw from outside the show. They only showed us a little bit on the DMD friendship show, and everyone on the show said they were close and spend alot of time together.
