They already ruined the story:
1. They turned kdj from bullied depressed kid who read the novel twsa as his lifeline into a bully and literal murderer who hated twsa.
2. Hsy from "This is for just one reader" to "if you don't like it, write it yourself"
3. Weapons and skill changes: kdj doesn't have fourth wall or bookmark and he used a reviving skill for his "king of no killing" title to revive yjh; sangah's thread turned into healing thread; lee jihye uses sniper; jung heewon uses dagger; and etc.
4. Jung Heewon turned into kdj's cheered and favorite character in twsa instead of yjh. For kdj, she's the protagonist of the story.
5. I don't know if I understood correctly but I think they know the ending of twsa when they shouldn't.
6. Bihyung turned into some obedient dog of kdj. They basically removed his superiority complex and smugness.
7. They made kdj take care of his mother.
8. The progression is the same but the progress is different. I hope you understand what I mean. Its kinda like, it flowed the same but cause of all the changes its also flowing differently

First of all, I hope you enjoy it, whether for your favorite actor or idol. Anyways, as a reader of the source material, I watched the trailers and teasers, its really bad so I just accepted that a 1:1 adaptation is impossible. So I go to SK and I watched the movie, and I swear I tried to watch it with fresh eyes but its bad. At most its meh cause here's what I've seen. I've seen bad-average visuals; bad and cringe dialogues and script; and here's the weird part for me, bad and stiff acting by some of the casts. I'm not gonna mention who they are but all I'm saying is that I've seen some of their other projects and they're really good at acting. So it weirded me out when I saw they act like newbies. Some are stiff, some sounds like they're just memorizing the script, and some looks like they don't understand their character at all.
As for the changes, to help you understand why everyone of the readers here is going crazy is they exceeded my expectations, they did an almost 0:1 adaptation. They just took the plot and the names of the characters and changed them. For example is they turned kim dokja, from bullied depressed kid who has the novel he's reading as his lifeline into a bully and literal murderer that hated the novel he read. That's just one of the small but major changes so I hope that helps you understand why the readers are crashing out.

People call it ridiculous and crazy, but I think we're just passionate. We'll be a bigger hater than Lex Luthor if we needed to, as long as we can make sure that this abomination doesn't get anymore sequel from the same director and gets associated with the novel and webtoon.

I suggest you to read the novel but if you're not into reading novels, I suggest the manhwa/webtoon and if you're not into reading at all, I suggest you wait for the anime that is coming soon

As readers and fans who have followed the story/novel, I think we have every right to be disappointed and mad at this abomination of an "adaptation". You might not be able to understand why so I'll leave it at that

As an adaptation, we can already agree its bad. But as a standalone? Its still bad, maybe meh. The script and dialogues are cringe and bad to the point that skits from reels and shorts are better; some of the acting are stiff, not gonna mention who but what I'm curious is why cause I've seen most of the other casts' projects and they're good at them. Aside from that, there's also the bad cinematography, bad visuals, and etc. In conclusion, I think the main problem is in the director.
Anyways, If you're gonna watch it whether cause your favorite actor or idol is in it or any other reason, I still hope you enjoy it.

As an adaptation? Super bad. As a separate entity/thing, its meh. The dialogues and script are kinda cringe and bad. Most of the actors are kinda stiff in acting which is weird cause I've seen most of the other actors' projects and they were good at them. There's also the problem which is they just took the plot and names of the characters and changed almost all of the story and the characters' personalities and characteristics. One example is turning the mc from a depressed and bullied kid that has the novel he's reading as his lifeline for 13 years into a bully and literal murderer that hates the novel that he read. That's all I can say. If you're a non-reader, I still hope you enjoy it, whether if you're watching it for the casts you love or for other reason

Aside from the changes which is literally almost everything aside from the plot and the names of the characters, I've cringed multiple times cause of the bad script and dialogues and for some reason some of the actings are kinda stiff.
