Beautiful series that are underrated
This is my first time writing a review.
First I want to say that I am not an active BL viewer.
I'm a picky eater when it comes to spectacle.
Beyond that, I'm already saturated with BL right now. I don't know why, but for me personally, the more BL comes here, the more boring it gets. In the past, it was LBC, TTS, Whyru, and so on. That's in one week I'm only waiting for 1-2 titles. But currently, every day there are BL titles that air, even in a day there are 1-5 different BL that air.
Again I say, this is just my personal reference.
*MY SWEETHEART JOM*
I don't have any expectations whatsoever about this series. Although I'm a fan of Saint, I didn't know anything about the series before (I really don't follow the world of BL anymore).
I didn't watch the pilot series. I watched it right after 11 episodes run.
I was initially interested in the Kn*k *ut series. But when the series aired, I only finished 1 episode, I felt that in the first episode I had already described what the future of the series would be like. And that's not my type.. incorrect
Then I switched to PitBabe, and then I found This (My Sweetheart Jom).
*PLOT*
The plot is simple.
When people say this series is slow, I actually enjoy that kind of plot. It's a cliché, but a plot like this has a clear story purpose and what it will definitely be like. I agree, with a lot of characters who don't really need to be like political people who are hostile to Jom, even though it's actually supportive of the Plot.
With a simple plot, I just want to be entertained, with beautiful natural scenery, cute scenes of adorable 3 ducks, and of course sweet scenes between Jom and Yothin. There were no boring scenes that I found, I really enjoyed every second of the series, even when I was given 2 hours for 1 episode, I still felt lacking.
This is the only series I follow, where every week I follow the episodes, then I watch BTS, then I watch Reaction from IPondTV and I watch Reaction PoomSaint.
I am not surprised why this series is not popular. First many hated Saint from the past (you know who they are 😅). Then, due to the lack of nc scenes. yes, BL audiences now likes the Nc scene more than anything else. No matter how bad the plot is, no matter how bad the actor's acting is. All they need is nc scenes in almost every episode. That way, the series will get widespread support and fans. They don't care about quality anymore.
Although Sweetheart Jom also has an nc scene, but it's not as much as people expect.
I personally didn't expect that scene in this series. Because, for me personally, even though Saint and Poom are old enough, they still look like adorable babies. I think a kiss is enough.
*CAST*
SAINT as Jom : I've known him since LBC, but I've only been crazy about him since Why R U.
Even though I'm 1 year older than him, I always call him my little baby 🤣 now he's grown up. But he was still beautiful and cute.
POOM as Yo : when I first watched this series, I thought he was a newcomer. Then I realized, I had seen he on the Sign. I really just got to know him in this series. She is very handsome and cute. The characters here are also very funny, protective, confident and to the point. And I was impressed with his acting, his body gestures, his facial expressions, it was good. he could match Saint's acting qualities.
SUPPORTING ROLES: everyone played their role well, nothing disappointed.
MUSIC: I really like the song, it's good to hear.
*CHEMISTRY*
the chemistry between Saintt and Poom is wonderful. Despite the considerable age difference, they are suitable for being together.
Some commented "his chemistry is not as great w Zee, especially in the nc scene"
That's true, but looking at Poom's age, I'd rather they weren't overdoing it.
Regarding Poom who is Top. I also expect Saint to be the Top, because Poom is really cute and still very young.
But I agree with Poom being Top, because he's still very young and he's going to grow up, he's very changeable. It's the same with Phuwin (my Tee).
Hearing Saint and Poom have known each other for a long time, then their chemistry is great and Sanit is a CEO and Poom is a talent.
I imagine, if they were a Real couple, it would be very beautiful. Like I was watching a Chinese drama. You know what I mean, HA HA
*CONCLUSION*
This series is very interesting to follow every second. The plot is simple, entertaining, you will laugh but also cry. Sweet Chemistry PoomSaint, Beautiful Village View. reminds 1000 stars. The supporting roles are all great too.
I hope PoomSaint will work together again in the series in the future. And hope that all those involved in it will also achieve success.
