As someone who followed this story since 2020, this movie felt like a personal betrayal. It stripped the heart, the themes, and even the essence of what made the novel and webtoon unforgettable. Instead, we got a flashy mess that centers around a character who was never supposed to be in the spotlight. It's not even fanservice, it's pure ego-stroking. The director clearly didn’t care about the source material—only about selling tickets and slapping a famous name on the poster. You don’t adapt a masterpiece like this without respect.
