I was completely disappointed watching this nonsense of a movie that claims to be based on Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint. It has almost nothing in common with the novel we love. Honestly, I wouldn’t even have known this was supposed to be an ORV's live action if not for the characters’ names and SingSong-nim’s name being mentioned. The director and some of the cast didn’t even have basic respect for the original story or our author-nim (let alone us readers). If they did, this movie wouldn’t have turned out the way it did.

So, with all due respect, please don’t make another one.

And to those who’ve only seen the movie, I hope you understand why we are being like this and please don’t judge Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint based on this adaptation. The novel (and even the manhwa) is a beautiful story that deserves to be experienced properly. I genuinely hope you’ll give the original a chance instead of relying on... whatever this was.
