Thereās a lot of confusion, but I always try to understand the authorās point of view before judging.
As for the mother, there are many like herāIāve met some myself. Her behavior is understandable, but not acceptable. Personally, I would never accept my own mother acting this way or interfering in things that donāt concern her. I would have even asked the manager to deal with her according to the hotelās rules. Unfortunately, many mothers donāt see their daughters as humans; they put society, money, and traditions first, while their daughtersā feelings come last.
Itās not easy for Miyu either. Sheās still struggling internally. I understand that her sudden change wonāt be easily accepted by those who knew her before. Theyāll likely judge her and try to blame or take advantage of her, seeing her as a ābad person.ā But in reality, she has grown a lot. Over the past few months, her personality has clearly developed, and her skills have improved as well.
The situation with the motherās salary and luxurious hotel stay seems a bit unrealistic, but it might just be a way to keep her away from Miyu and avoid her constant complaintsābecause sheāll probably start complaining again anyway. Still, the mother has a valuable and profitable skill for the hotel, and her role in teaching other chefs makes her deserving of a reward. I just hope she sets clear limits soon because the situation is getting annoying.
Mr. Tan is straightforward and honest, which is a great quality. But there is something suspicious and unclear about his personality.
Ji Feng seems troubled in this ep, and I hope he learns to manage his emotions as well as he handles the hotelāwith intelligence, focus, and dedication.
Saw a lot of comment about:- being bored. Iām not. - Tan Jr behaviour called toxic. Donāt agree. He helped…
@Tatte145 I also hope they sit down together face-to-face; these disagreements will be resolved clearly. And from the previews for the next episode, he tried to talk to her, but she didn't give him a chance, haha.

It's true he's starting to feel that emotional warmth and is becoming interested in her. But he's trying to deny it, haha. I'm waiting for a verbal confession and confirmation of their feelings, whether it's the ML or the FL. As Miyu said in her conversation with Tan at the restaurant, she has a painting she wants to create but is hesitant and still not ready. She was referring to Ji Feng, and she discovered that someone else had already painted it -JI's ex-. So both of them feel unprepared and even hesitant. It's worth noting that both leads have been in failed relationships, left by their lovers, and are now getting back because they feel remorse. Ji Feng thinks Mio isn't ready yet. He's afraid he might be an obstacle in her career path because he's unsure if it's in her plans to enter a relationship now, especially after a failed marriage that lasted 10 years. I like it when both parties take their time to make sure this person is right for them, not just to fill a void, but to determine if they are truly the right person. I like this because I believe people should enter relationships with certainty, because people's feelings aren't a game.

True... what's truly remarkable is the character development, and for me, I understand the ML's lie to the FL back then. I think the reason is that he hadn't yet resolved his feelings for her, which is why he was still hesitant to reveal his personal matters to her.
I just wish Mio a happy life... I'm so proud of her for starting to say no to anything that drains her and for choosing herself and her happiness. She has a long way to go and so much to learn.
So much crap to unpack after watching all 18eps1. ML really needs to get his emotions under control; him being…
I feel the series is realistic and presents many different characters. In reality, people are very changeable, and moments of weakness and anger are perfectly normal. I really enjoyed the atmosphere at work and in the hotel, and the challenges involved.
I'm actually enjoying this drama very much. While the major events haven't started yet, I think the early emergence of feelings between the main characters will add another layer of beauty to the upcoming storylines.
