Yes! 100% better than the FL in femal general. Fu Yi Xiao embodied the role of a general, no "girlish" moment in all her scenes.. unlike the one in female general🙄
The character of the princess, the ML younger sister is the reason why ladies have been deemed weak and gullible, even to this day. How can you betray your father and brother because of a man you met only once in your entire life?? It's not like she lacked loved or a "male presence" in her life.. the obsession with the Prince she married is very irritating🙄. As much as I don't like that Prince for what he did to the FL, I liked the rejections he kept giving her. Who throws herself to a man this much?! Princess indeed!

I'm also very irritated at her level of naivety. How can you fall in love because of just one time you met the prince? And then you see how he treats you but still pushing yourself on him and already imagining spending eternity together.. how dumb can you be🙄🤦🏽♀️.. If she could think of setting up a meeting with the FL out of curiosity to see who her future husband really liked instead of her, I don't think she's that dumb not to try and find out why her brother didn't want the marriage, and why the FL wasn't really bothered about the marriage.
I'm just a few episodes in.. Great costume 👌🏼, visuals and acting too.. but I have one problem with FL. Her facial expressions are static.. I'm not saying she isn't a good actress, but the only time her expressions feel different is when she laughs, other times are almost straight faces/expressions. Which is why its easy for her comrades to suspect that she knows who tried to kill her, because she didn't mask her expressions well.
Nice drama! I tried to complete the drama majorly because of the male lead. I really hope Chinese screen writers and directors take some time to read through viewers opinions/comments. When the switch happened between the female leads I lost interest, I thought it was just me but I realized in comments that people preferred the first FL. No doubt, the casts played their roles well but the first FL already has an impression and better image in the hearts of viewers. Besides the make up for the second FL was not it at all, a big NO! Then there was very little chemistry between the leads so the kiss scenes didn't really spark excitement for most viewers. Also, I understand that maybe more episodes will give more views and more money made, but at least try not to create unnecessary scenarios that will make the drama begin to drag, making it uninteresting.
