They could have made her adoptive father the one to rescue her, in the novel, she goes through so much, dies, then transmigrates into someone whose body isn't made for martial arts, yet she pushes herself and goes through so much just to come to the point where the FL comes right in ep1/2 like wtf!! Her struggles are what I loved Abt her, she chooses the same path which killed her, all the way again in a different body. I cannot watch the show anymore, a disservice to the novel.

Read the novel, it's good. This adaptation does disservice to the source material

Then even have removed Hongshen and mergerd with wang Ba I guess. I dropped it after ep2, felt it was a cheap try at adapting the novel! Complete injustice to the source matrial

Bcs it's based on a novel which is famous, readers like me were waiting for this only to be disappointed with the amount of characters they have taken out or ruined. Everyone have their opinion, just bcs your fav is in the lead doesn't mean the readers should like this cheap adaptation

I was wondering why he told him about being a physician, now I understood. They have even mergerd Wang Ba and Hong shen characters I guess. The novel had so much depth, I was very much waiting for this, only to be disappointed. I dropped it at ep 2. They have cut the parts of her adoptive father, brother, hr ex husband and his family, her uncle, and merged many characters idk what they are upto
