Where do I start? Weak Hero Class 2… probably the most anticipated drama of 2025. And I’m happy to say it didn’t disappoint. I know whether you like this drama or hate it depends on personal taste but I’m just going to put out why I 🖤it. First things first, Weak hero is such a psychological drama. From the character development to the movement of the plot, everything is so gripping. Secondly, you can really empathise with the characters and feel bad for them. They feel real and have depth( not 2D characters who are perfect). Their defects and strengths make you fall in love with them. If you are here for heartwarming glorified tone and emotions, you can run away right now because Weak Hero is the opposite. It presents the emotions the characters go through raw and real. They don’t underplay or overexaggerate the emotional journey of each of the characters. Thirdly, the cast (oh my days!!!) is fantastic. Bae Nara as Na Baekjin, I loved it. This show also had the best villain in my opinion. Usually villains are so plain boring. But I fully fell in love with Na Baekjin. He is such a complex, psychologically layered character. I cried at the ending of this drama. And let’s not forget our Sieun. He goes through so much and he grows into an amazing person. Okay, probably enough of my yapping… To wrap up, Weak Hero Class 2 was fantastic. Probably my favourite drama ever. If you haven’t watched it yet and are looking for a drama to watch next, Weak Hero is perfect. I’ve watched it more than 3 times already and you probably will too.
