I really enjoyed for its beautiful cinematography and graphics that are absolutely a feast for the eyes. The drama shines in showing a tragic love story, but honestly, I got frustrated with the main leads due to their constant misunderstandings and lack of communication. It was sometimes hard to watch their relationship struggle because of these avoidable issues. Still, the emotions and tension they created felt real, and the visual details made the whole experience captivating. The leads have amazing chemistry Zhang Linghe and Bai Lu are both so good in their roles. Zhang Linghe really stands out with his acting skills in this drama, delivering a strong and believable performance. However, his character has some red flag moments that add tension and complexity, making the story more interesting. Overall, his role adds depth and excitement to this palace drama.
