Worth it to watch
I really loved this drama! I thought Lighter and Princess would forever be my favorite C-drama, but after watching this, it instantly became my #1, with L&P now in second place.This drama felt so relatable to me. The Chinese culture shown here is so similar to the Philippines—especially the part where you have to follow your very strict parents. The way parents stay deeply connected with the in-laws, sometimes to the point of becoming a burden, was portrayed so realistically.
But what makes this drama stand out is that it’s not just about romance—it beautifully highlights the strength of family relationships and the importance of family values. The lessons they want to impart to viewers are heartfelt and meaningful.
Highly recommended! It’s truly worth watching.
