Very Funny and Nice Love Story
This is the first drama of Lee Dong Wok that I've seen. It was very beautiful. Lee Dong Wok as Gong Chan was so dashingly handsome. He played a very loving and dedicated and bright young company president who fell in loved with a poor but wonderful girl in the story.The drama is a combination of love story between the two antagonists as well as deep family relationship and also the deep friendship between Gong Chan and his cousin who became his rival for the heart of the FL.
The love story is also entangled with the problem of lies and deception which complicates the relationship between the family members as well as the love of ML and FL.
I believe that this is the best ever drama of Lee Dong Wok.

The Richest Prince and the Worthy Girl
The story is too good to be true and therefore I will not judge it based on its quality as a film. I just enjoy it as a unique love story.The ML is so handsome and so perfect for the role. He exudes power, fame and glory and influence to the max. He is just perfect as a very handsome actor playing the rich part. He could be a nice Dao Ming Zi. I love the way he is obsessed with the very beautiful but simple, poor girl the FL.
I admire the FL for her courage, good values and determination despite being alone in the world and poor. She worked and studied. I also loved that she is not attracted by offer of money and jewelries by the ML.
Even though the ML is so threatening and even violating her dignity from time to time although he stopped from raping her but still what he was doing was abuse. However, his genuine love for the FL is so heartwarming.
Glad to know that at the end the FL lead realized that the ML was not involved in any crime she suspected him and she has fallen in loved with him also.
It's a Cinderalla story retold in different way... A sort of Meteor Garden way in a certain sense. Hehehe...

Sweet Revenge with the Handsome Officer as Her Hand and Knife
I was attracted by this drama because of the ML Lu Huan Yu who is so handsome. The FL Zhang Jin Yi is so beautiful too. After watching the series I've found out that they are real couple. I love it. They look so wonderful together and glad that those looks and the affection and the very love itself are for real.The story is quite different from usual. A beautiful girl who suffered so much injustice and is under the evil control of her relatives was struggling for clues to be used for justice and revenge. Unfortunately, she met the royal officer investigating corruption in the city and tthe handsome officer fell in-loved with the beautiful girl who was also virtuous and very intelligent. He supported her, helped her and protected her from harm and became her hand, her knife and her sword to avenge against those who made her suffer so much.
Their acting are simple but very convincing. I love this drama and hope to see more dramas with Lu Huan Yu in it.

Lovely yet Funny Love Story
I enjoyed this drama so much. It is quite unique because the FL being a lady general is very manly while the ML appears weak and shy in disguise though. It is so hilarious and beautiful how they develop their love for each other despite the identity mask and the secrets. Even though there is an interplay of politics and military actions the love story still shines for the couple to get to know each other and learn to accept and forgive each other despite their differences.Their assistants are also very nice and funny.
I admire the FL for forgiving the ML after knowing his secret. Some FL are becoming extremely angry to the point that they don't want to forgive anymore. This FL listens to her heart and helped the ML to be a better person. The ML is also admirable because he was always humble and respectful of his wife. His love was real and he was willing to leave everything behind for her happiness and good.
I love the production. It is well done.

She really rise like a Phoenix
I love this drama because the FL is not only very beautiful but intelligent and resourceful and talented. The ML Prince is so handsome. How I love to kiss his lips.The twists and turns of the story are very nice. I love that the two sisters have reconciled and stopped treating each other as enemies. The politics and competitions in the palace were cruel and intense. Glad that the FL was able to go through them with prudence and brilliant plans. She is a very shrewd tactician.
Glad that the ML loved the FL from the very beginning.
The Queen Mother is also loving and protective of the FL.
I love to hear at the end that the Prince stated: "It doesn't matter anymore whether you are my savior or not. I love you."
Their acting are simple but effective.

Cute and Funny and Lovely Drama
My sister was watching this drama and so I decided to watch it too. When my sister was watching I saw the ML Ma Shi Yao so handsome and so macho half naked and I was attracted to this wonderful young man.I love the story because the couples lived a simple life not in extravagant lifestyle of the rich and the famous. Through daily cooking and sharing simple life together they grew in loved with each other.
The ML is not only so handsome and so hot as a male figure but he is also kind hearted, down to earth and really a perfect gentleman. He really treated the FL like a beloved princess such as cooking for her, washing dishes and taking good care of her each time she was not feeling well. He won her heart through goodness and kindness and genuine affection. The FL is not used to do manual works because she came from a rich family forced to live alone and in poverty but she is very beautiful and a good girl. They look so wonderful together as a couple.
Glad that almost the entire drama was really focused on the main characters and mostly they are together in screentime. This is a beautiful love story with lots of practical lessons for young couples.

Unique and Nice Love Story
This is truly a very unique and very nice love story.I accidentally saw the teaser of this drama in Facebook and I was hooked by the personality of the FL. She is very strong-willed, courageous and brave, with commanding presence proper for the daughter of a renown general who was the hero of the people. She was no pushover and know how to fight for her rights. She fought her scumbag husband and his family and emerged victorious and was able to win back her family properties.
The mysterious ML whom she had chosen to be her gigolo lover because he was very handsome and with great physique is indeed very good-looking young man. He is a feast to the eye. However, as the story progresses he came out to be a very important person in the kingdom and emerged as a strong character also with his own talents, skills and good character.
I find this unique because it is my first time to see a story wherein the Prince played a long as a gigolo of a rich girl who is actually a virtuous noble lady. It turns out that they have strong relationship from their younger days.
It is also nice to see that the FL suffered less because she is a fighter and an intelligent woman and also because of the consistent protection given her by the ML.
I enjoyed this very much and I highly recommend as very entertaining. It is funny and touching at the same time and of course I love the happy ending.

Pure Love Wins
I love this drama very much. The story is very beautiful even though the plot is quite familiar already. The ML is so handsome and the FL is so sweet and beautiful. I love the Grandpa because he accepted into his family the orphan girl FL and truly loved her as his own. She was treated with love and respect. I also loved that the 2ML had a redemption plot by saving his sister the FL and peacefully accepting her marriage with the ML at the end. It is truly a happy ending.Liang Si Wei as the ML is so loving and funny. I love the way he makes the FL happy, protect her in every way and romances her with so much tenderness. The FL is so blessed to have that kind of boyfriend-husband. Totally devoted, genuinely in loved and he prioritizes the safety, well-being and happiness of the FL over his own safety and business.
The FL's best friend is so funny too.
I love the great family values being promoted through this drama.

A New Spring of Love
This drama is so refreshing. The ML is so handsome and so cool as a University Professor and the FL is so beautiful and cute as a young medical doctor. I am very satisfied that the story didn't evolved into too much violence and vengeance. Instead it focused on the personality and character of the ML and the FL how they mature as lovers from their high school days until they meet again after 8 years of separation and finally fulfilled their love for each other.It is also nice that the ML didn't immediately appear as super rich CEO but just started building his own financial fortune through his expertise and financial brilliance. Glad also that the FL is not being bullied by her co-workers in the hospital and even the female villain didn't resort to violence such as kidnapping, etc.
The parents of both sides are also very loving and caring and praiseworthy.
I admire also the traditional family values of the FL family. Even if they want their daughter to get married soon but they always remind her to refrain from full sex until she gets married.
I love that both the ML and the FL are deeply in loved with each other and they refrain from further giving pain to each other. They are very open to say that they love each other.
I think the intension of the assassin is not fully explained why he wanted to do such a horrible act against a very good and kind lady. Thank God the FL survived.

What a Waste of True Love by Choosing a Garbage
I was attracted to watch because of the handsome ML. I was thinking that like the other drama with the same plot the FL will accept the ML back for a happy ending.I found the cast perfect for their roles. The ML is so handsome and acted with subtlety that he looks like a demon in his pride and arrogance. The FL is so beautiful and elegant and a very good actress too. She embodies the role of a loving and caring wife, highly competent professional and a loving mother.
Glad that the FL is presented as a strong woman who knew when to leave at the right time instead of almost unending tortures from the villains.
I love this version of the drama and I enjoyed it much.

Excellent ML and unfortunately very weak FL
I am glad to finally finish this drama with English subtitles. I was attracted into it because of the super handsome ML Chen Tian Xiang who looks superb in costume dramas as Prince or Royalty. He didn't disappoint here. He is still shiningly very handsome, dignified and intelligent, strong and reliable and couldn't be manipulated by the scheming women.Unfortunately, I find the FL very weak and a push over. She is already reborn yet instead of doing meticulous planning to defeat her enemies she allowed herself to be manipulated, humiliated, accused unjustly and even tortured later on. The young Marquis ML already told her that it is better to kill her enemies than allow herself to be killed yet she remained helpless and useless against the machinations and plots of her stepmother and stepsister. The ML already told him to always ask his help if she needs yet she is always caught by her enemies unprepared to defeat their evil schemes.
The father of the FL is one of the most stupid fathers in chinese dramas. So weak, so idiot and so useless. The good Aunt is a very wonderful person. She is pure and dignified, loving and caring and very wise.
The story is already very common unfortunately the director and writer were not able to present it as a fresh version.

Refreshing Take of the Old Story Plot
The story and plot is already common and have been presented already in previous versions however the presence of the ML and FL actors made this version appealing and refreshing.The ML is so handsome while the FL is very cute and strong willed and talented.
I find it very hilarious too on many occasions especially the scenes with the rich mother in law pretending to be poor.
The entire drama is entertaining and the cast did a great job.

Sweet Revenge in Sweet Love Story
I came across this drama because of the ML Chen Tiang Xiang whom I admire from other dramas especially in Thorns of Desire. I find him very handsome playing the role of Royal Prince or Lord or the Emperor.The story follows the usual death and reborn by the FL by which she used the opportunity to revenge and turn the table on her tormentors and murderers. The FL is bright, intelligent and exacted revenge with brilliant plans and careful strategies. She succeeded with the help of the ML.
The ML is of course very handsome. His role here however is somewhat different. Instead of being a very powerful Emperor or an overbearing Royal Master he is a Prince who is deeply in loved with the FL. He completely trust her and did everything according to her plans and will. He is also a very competent leader. Intelligent, rich and wise yet he prioritize the happiness of the FL over his own happiness and career and even over his own life. He is so cute acting like an obedient puppy to the FL without lessening his being manly or his royal dignity. It is nice to have an ML completely faithful and devoted to his wife and not vulnerable to the machinations of seducing women or making decisions for power while neglecting the care or happiness of the FL. This Prince is a perfect husband.
The FL reciprocates his love and dedication by her own loyalty and fidelity. She grew deeply in loved with him too. She trusted him completely and confided her plans to him. Joining forces together they succeeded in defeating the evil schemes of the enemies. For my personal taste I do not find the FL beautiful enough for such a very handsome ML but I still find her beautiful though.
The characters of the Grandmother and that of the Emperor are also exemplary.

A Good Drama Despite Weak Points
I decided to watch this drama because of the ML played by Wang Jia Mao whom I find very handsome in royal roles and robes. I first saw him in Throne of Regret wherein he played the role of the King who made the other woman the Empress rather than the former female general who served him with great loyalty and sacrifice. The FL in that drama decided to leave the unfaithful Emperor. Despite being the scumbag in that drama I found him very handsome and been longing to see him playing royalty again but in good character. I got my wish here.In this drama, the ML is faithful to the FL. He is secretly in loved with her and always protecting her. He was a loving husband as well as a faithful Prince Regent to the young Emperor. I got my wish to see him once again in good role as Prince and faithful husband. He is also presented as a very wise and competent Regent.
The FL was somewhat weak and easy to be manipulated but she learned from her mistakes and gradually grew in wisdom, knowledge and competence. Her privilege of being appointed in the royal court as the first female official is deserving.
I also like the choice of the director to use as a major villain the girl-servant of the FL. Usually, the villain woman is the stepsister of the FL or an illegitimate sister. Instead, the maid servant was elevated as a mistress or concubine of the 2ML.
The presentation of the 2ML, the first husband who serves as the main villain is quite inappropriate for me. He was the top scholar of the young generation. He must be very bright and even a possible candidate to be Prime Minister but instead of showing character of a very intelligent young man he was always acting, speaking and making decisions like a stupid or unreasonable man. The director I think failed to guide the actor who played this role to portray his character properly as demanded by the story.

Complicated yet a Beautiful Love Story
When I saw the teaser in Facebook I thought that this is just a regular Unfaithful Boyfriend, Suffering Girlfriend type of story. Instead, as the drama unfolds it became complicated and unexpected.The Male Leads, both the ML Manager-Producer and the 2ML the popular Actor are both very handsome. They genuinely care for the FL despite her weaknesses and limitations. I thought that the ML would be a heartless boyfriend who will choose the villain woman and will make the FL suffer abandonment, jealousy and emotional pain instead he gradually proved his love and fidelity to the FL by rejecting the scheming villain woman and competed for the FL's love with his very own brother. The 2ML besides being very handsome too is also caring, loving and protective of the FL. It's very difficult to choose between the two.
The FL is pretty and cute but it seems that her acting his lacking. She is a one sided actress. Her facial expressions are repetitive and no variety even in different circumstances. However, since she is presented in the story as one who has emotional weakness it is quite understandable. She is funny too. Her simple looks makes me remember San Cai of the Meteor Garden fame. She is simple and poor yet loved and respected by rich, handsome boys simply because of the goodness of her heart and her purity. Her simplicity is her best asset. Unlike the villain woman who is elegant but always presenting herself as a woman in heat.
The ups and downs of the story is very nice. It's quite difficult to determine whom she will finally choose at the end: the ML who was her original boyfriend or the actor who helped her. Glad that at the end she chose to be with the real love of her heart, the one who really makes her happy. I love happy ending. But I pity the guy who didn't get the girl.
