Beautiful Couple in Wonderful Love Story
I love this drama. The ML and the FL have great chemistry. They look so beautiful together. The ML is so handsome and the FL is very beautiful. I love the character of the grandmother who immediately liked the FL. The personality and character of the ML is also very good. He is soft spoken, faithful and loyal to the FL and he really cares for her and her mother. Despite her poor and complicated family background he still loved and respected her.The FL is not only beautiful in looks but really beautiful inside. She is a joyful lover, always peaceful and prudent. She didn't to rushed things that could complicate further the situation during the media controversies. She didn't confront the villain but she simply waited patiently for the ML to solve the problem on his pace and on his terms. She is a person who easily forgives and understands.
I love how their love for each other grew steadily as the story progresses. What I dont like is the lack of full clarification on her parental origin. She could be from a rich family and her real parents could be looking for her. Also the character of Mr Mu was not given clear conclusion. What is he really in the story? How about Jieker? Who is that? Is he the one who became the actress? Is the actress Jiang a transgender woman?

Xiong Yun Hao is a Great Discovery
I accidentally bumbed into the summary video of this drama. When I saw the ML coming out of shower half naked I was love struck. Hihihi... He was so handsome, so cute and so sexy. He looks very young to play the role of the CEO but he did it very well. He looks so innocent and loving and caring. The FL is very beautiful.I think this drama is so underrated. I love the story and the actors. The scenes are not overly exaggerated unlike in other dramas.
I also wish that this website will put a full biography of Xiong Yun Hao because he could be a rising star in Chinese drama. I will surely follow him more.

Very Beautiful Love Story Between a Young General & his Extraordinary young Wife
The first time I saw this drama I was immediately attracted with the beauty of the FL Zhao Lu Si and the calm but intelligent nobility of the ML General Ling Bu Yi (Leo Wu). Her carefree spirit and innocent beauty captivates me and the handsome yet dignified demeanor of the General who was so deeply in loved with the FL is so touching. Both leads acted so well and so convincingly.The production has done well and the director is very good.
The presentation of the family values and the complications of the political tensions in the Imperial Palaces made their love story more beautiful and touching.
Because of this drama I became a great fan of Leo Wu and Zhao Lu Zi. Hope to see more of them.

A Great Drama, Great Male Lead with Touching Ending
I accidentally saw this drama in You Tube and I was infatuated with the charismatic and very handsome Cheng Yi as the ML Prince-Emperor. His acting is superb. He is always cool and gentle but brilliant in execution. The flow of the story is neatly done. The production is excellent and the script is flowing seamlessly. The martial arts actions are very good too.The story is politically complicated and along with all the complications the love of the Emperor to his beloved lady was so consistent. Glad that at the end the Emperor and his Uncle remained faithful to each other and honored each other with dedication. Until the very end the Emperor arranged everything for the good and happiness of his beloved, the FL.
This is another crown to the list of great drama played by the great Cheng Yi.

This drama is repeatedly appearing as no. 1 in Korea and in Netflix so I was attracted to watch. I was not disappointed at all. The drama is not that long but it is so beautiful. Funny, Romantic, full of political tensions and historical drama but also full of love and tenderness all mixed into one with unity and harmony.The FL being a famous actress is expected to do well and she delivered as expected. She is beautiful and loving and captivating all throughout.
The ML is a revelation. I've read that he was a last minute replacement to the original actor and only got one month of preparation but he delivered an excellent acting as if a seasoned actor of highest caliber. My friend told me that there might be riots in Korea if he will not get the Best Actor award for this role. O gosh, the ML made me cry, laugh and felt in loved with him in short period of time. He showed gentleness and strength, love and anger through his eyes and body actions. He is a gem newly discovered. I wish to see more of him.
The story is so beautiful. Imagine, using cooking as a setting for a great drama and instead of a famous hero like King Jumong they chose a historical tyrant King as protagonist ML. This is very revolutionary and something new but it went so well.
This drama is now listed as one of the best of the best and unforgettable among my list of most beloved drama ever. Im so glad to see the happy ending. Now Im dreaming to cook for my beloved king everyday.
