Healing to Grow

The fact that they made the protagonist a children’s book author seemed like the most contradictory part of this drama to me, but at some point you come to understand it. In this story, we see how the main characters were marked by their childhood, how they had to go through events that forced them to grow up too quickly, and how the plot revolves around reclaiming their childhood through their hometown. Meeting that first love and confronting a trauma related to their parents shows us that they were all still children who needed to heal in order to truly grow.

"It’s Okay to Not Be Okay" leaves you with a comforting feeling, and although you might have to shed a few tears before getting there, watching the entire drama is absolutely worth it.
