Classic Idiot Plot
Dear Lordy lord give me strength. You know I came late to the game, and with many good new shows I rarely find time and will to go back to some oldies. This one is a four year old JoongDunk, and I watched it under averse conditions: I had a working brain.
Now I have to admit... how shall I say it gently. Joong and Dunk are nice people. I mean personally. I mean... as far as I know. Yeah, that sounds like a good start. Yeah and Dunk looks stunning. ... Yeah that's kinda all.
Anywho, I worked myself up to Episode 7 of probably eight? I kinda didn't check, because... not care? 😅 Seriously, when Kluen (Joong) is about to bring flowers, overhears part of Dao (Dunk) speaking something out of context and IMMEDIATELY turns away for the frigging n'th time like he does for since EVER this story began. "Whee I am gone, be free to guess why..." Honestly. That's not someone I would ever want around me in any sort of relation to me. I am always guessing what you think and run away, and make you guess because I don't tell. What a horrible person. Sorry.
But this entire series was so much "talk no jutsu", only the wrong people always talk, talk, talk and for 7 episodes we are at the same point where the series began, Dao not sure if he loves, Kluen running away, I am SORT OF DONE WITH IT. And yes frankly, I don't want to diss people, but I never felt the mojo in any Joong Dunk series. I recall my great frustration about their last one, being cops, and Dunk staring, as a dead body dissolves oh and more staring "I love you" "l know". I am sorry, I just don't get this. What is this ships shtick, because apparently I don't understand it at all.
You know the term "Idiot Plot"? It's about series or films where the plot only continues because everyone acts like an idiot and if anyone wasn't an idiot the plot would be over. That's how I felt about the Main Characters. Sorry, not sorry. 😂
So after 7 Episodes feeling like Groundhog Day I stopped and give it a
4/10
I want my time back. But the other characters played well?
