This is calm, healing and comfort drama with a mature romance.

We can judge this in two ways: from a focused perspective or from a general one. If we judge it as part of a general critique, we’d basically be judging a fish by its ability to climb trees, and that would be unfair in a genre as diverse as Korean dramas.

This drama doesn’t have action, suspense, or an excessive amount of drama, but it is a story that, beyond what I’ve read in other reviews, actually has some lessons to teach!

I read somewhere that someone didn’t understand why there are so many C-dramas similar to this one that people praise or give good reviews to, while this one doesn’t receive the same treatment, when in reality, this drama is very good. It has that kind of vibe that is hard to find in a K-drama, and it manages to execute it well without becoming flat or “boring,” which I think is what people complain about the most.

In my opinion, people tend to think that something calm and peaceful is boring, but they don’t give it enough time to look beyond the surface of the story—to see how the characters’ decisions influence their lives, for better or worse. In this case, I absolutely loved the development of the characters and the decisions they made. Even when those decisions were difficult, they were also the bravest ones, and honestly, most of us aren’t very brave when it comes to those kinds of things.

Basically, this story tells you that sometimes taking the easiest path isn’t the best choice. Sometimes you have to take risks to change your direction, and that means daring to do more. This applies to everything, even relationships.

“Daring to do something that is destined to fail” might still be worth it. At the end of the day, no one knows what might happen.
