The hype is actually all about the actor, not the role. I personally like the 2nd ML better too. The 5 min interaction of Se Ri and Kim Hyeon had more chemistry than the whole movie. Not hating on the 1st ML, but his role + personality just didn’t hit as much. Maybe people still prefer the cool type guys not the super kind/green flag ones.

Watched the latest episode. Baekhyun listening to the signal sounds (like Morse Code) and matching them to the letters given in the clue sheet! Everyone was so confused watching him decode the signals! And immediately memorising the signal sounds upon hearing them and writing them down! Super attentive, focused and SMART!
