Well, the most complex character can mean everything. Typically, it means 3/4 of drama will be used to build her up (so-called "character development"), so the ML will have a chance to help/save her over and over again to move their romance forward...

Really like this one. Definitely one of my favourite versions of the "sister against evil family" storyline. Also, it's nice to see, for once, an ML who does look like a grown-up.
Really liked him a few years ago in "Special Warfare", especially his comedy timing, but recently didn't recognise him as the ML's brother in the "Prisoner of Beauty". Ooops :).
I'm surprised it doesn't have any comments or reviews, as it's a fantastic revenge drama, with a smart, capable, ruthless and very beautiful FL going against intelligent villains (or rather villainesses). No Rebirth and no Romance (so no ML helping FL, making her look weak) and strong finish - highly recommended, it immediately jumped into my TOP 10.
The type of Drama that disappoints me the most (even if it remains watchable) - potentially fantastic story based on the all-around capable and powerful female lead, dragged down by the horrible, overbearing ML wearing multiple god-awful masks, mixed with childhood/rescuing tropes and the terrible Romance. Thanks to the FL, the drama gave me a vibe of "Queen of the Battlefield", but the execution wasn't anywhere close.
Also , there is a moment around 1:32-1:33, when the ML is pinning the FL down - I hope one day to watch a drama where the female lead, actually presented as the very all-around capable, will beat the hell out of the ML in this kind of situation, instead of getting pinned down like some Damsel in Distress. Doesn't matter which god-awful mask he will wear at the moment :)
