So, help needed - some time ago, I watched a clip on YT from the Drama with Wang Chu Ran about the Palace/Harem intrigues - I think Empress/Imperial Consort got poisoned, Empress Dowager was leading the inquiry. and Wang Chu Ran proposed a solution to find a perpetrator by looking for marks left by the poison visible only under some kind of substance/herbs.
Does anyone know what Drama it was? Nothing from her career works really fits.
i think she is one of the most beautiful actress ini china
Yeah, when I hear people calling anyone decent looking "beautiful", I kind of think "beautiful? The FL's cousin in "Oh my General" was truly beautiful. Then, I check how her career developed since then... and boom!!!
I was also thinking about this show while watching legend of the female general ... I still remember the scene…
I have to admit that my favourite scene was actually a non-military one, when the FL was trying to motivate the ML to start his official career, and the MIL was walking in, but after listening to it on the outside, she went back home very happy.
I also really liked the FL's Sister in Law, virtuous wife with great kung fu, sounds like a very interesting combo :)
"Blossom" is an excellent show on its own, worthy checking out (episodes 1 and 5 are amazing, so either you will be hooked or just know it's not for you)
Flourished Peony is/was a very well received and highly liked drama (Viki’s subtitles seem fine to me). I’d…
Thanks for the recommendation. Didn't have a chance to watch it yet and I hate Amnesia (especially if it's about strong FLs who suddenly have to re-invent themselves), but it still seems quite interesting.
Minor thought - I started to watch a "LOFG" a few days ago, along with the "Flourished Peony". Badass Female Lead in Action Drama seemed much closer to my taste than Female Lead cultivating Peonies, but now - I feel absolutely nothing watching "ROFG" (maybe, except for disappointment during Damsel in Distress moments), and yet I'm obsessed with finding better subtitles for "Flourished Peony" following Episode 29, enjoying immsensely the FL's life ups and downs.
Sometimes, C-Dramaland leads to weird places and conclusions.
BTW, the fact that "ROFG" has a bit higher rating compared to "Flourished Peony" is a travesty of gigantic proportions.
As great as both of them are, I should let myself digest the latter Drama first.
I always had in my plans to watch "Battle of Changsha", but now, knowing she is there as well, I really need to finally do it.

I hope to watch "Are you the one" soon.

With the horse right fide, after so many watched movies/Dramas. I was actually caught in thinking, "Did I ever see it before"?
I FFed a lot during 27-28, but the Tavern fight was really nicely done.
I could overlook many weaknesses if the Drama would bring some emotions or deeper thoughts ouf of me.
Unfortunately, "ROFG" feels extremely flat.
But once again, thanks for a detailed recommendation.
Regading the 2nd season - not sure if I will be watching it immediately, have some Micro Dramas on my wishlist first.
