I’ve been waiting for Tan Jianci in a historical drama for one year. After Lost You Forever, I was completely…
I promised myself to finish a TJC show this year to celebrate and prepare for this. I got about 10 episodes into Lost You Forever but paused it to watch other stuff. Now I need to go back to it cause the character he plays is FASCINATING.
I wasn’t ready for ep 51. I wasn’t ready. I was actually sobbing on the bus. We knew Gu Jian would not survive but his death was unbearably heartbreaking to watch. That poor girl has lost the two most important men in her life by the ML who has gone beyond red flag territory and is now unforgiveable.
Nobody was a saint in this show but this girl didn’t deserve any of this.
I had to pause this episode part way to watch something lighter cause far out you need to.
That felt creep to put something like that on a box. He's delusional and acting infront of ML and his parents…
Never said he gets more sympathy or justifies his actions in the show. What this moment shows is why he is the way he is which is important to see where he coming from and not making him a one dimensional villain which is boring.
She should absolutely be with ML. I’m not saying 2ML is a better choice.
The fact that the SML kept her plaster in a small box as a keepsake speaks volumes about him and the kind of love and care he got in his life. I felt sad for him.
Look I knew there was something off about bestie’s husband. Worst case scenario it’s an actual affair but it’s probably more an emotional affair which is also terrible. For her own dignity she should leave him regardless but whether she does or not is hard to tell as it’s such a long history between them. I just want to give her a hug and tell her it will be okay.
Every time I come here, I see that the ratings keep increasing... is it that interesting?
Yes! 100%! Main couple is complex, second couple is complex, beautiful aesthetic and soundtrack and natural healthy healing romance. A solid modern drama.
Ok… I really liked that she was honest with her dad and explained everything. Still, my heart aches for both…
I had a tear in my eye when she cried afterwards. I was like ‘oh honey 🥺’ I wanted to hug her so bad. But I was also so proud of her for being honest about what wanting to do what she loves which is architecture. Even if it disappointed him.
This show is a very unique concept and I love how they use the VR world as part of why they escape but also shows them at times what they need to confront within themselves.
There are beautiful messages about missed opportunities, regret, redeeming and healing.
I’m just having a really wonderful time with this show.
I’m so glad she has been hired and has a chance to prove herself now despite an awkward family dinner and passing out in car with seatbelt on her face. Classic.
My heart broke for her during the interview misunderstanding and then I cried for her missed opportunities when they were having coffee in ep 4. I get that life happens but that poor girl - he could see her potential in her drawings and I hope that is the start of something beautiful between them.

Then finished it all off by finding and putting on her shoes.
Just 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Keen for some more VR game too please.
