If you liked KJY masterclass acting then may be you can watch his previous work aswell- The Judge from Hell with Park Shinhye as FL, a true masterpiece in every aspect.
Calling out the storyline is still understandable but saying the choice of actors are bad in the reviews, I mean what a joke! The plot & the masterclass acting in the first two episodes are reason that most of you are watching this drama with the not so famous leads. Well atleast find some genuine reasons to hate on this drama.

Exactly where is the comparison, LR is totally fantasy whereas Idol I atleast touched some heavy dark realities of K-pop industry if not much. And cmon we all know, if we came to know that our idol is dating someone, we'll feel a little uncomfortable at first. No doubt what shown in the drama was way to exaggerated but atleast they tried to touch the emotions of fans to some extent. The FL was never in love with ML before but grateful for saving her life in the past.
The writer nailed it. Everything was so well structured, and Hye-joo wasn’t even on my suspect list. I’m sure the ending will wrap things up nicely. The only reason I watched this drama was KIM JAEYOUNG but it definitely exceeded my expectations & a rewatch worthy.
So many secrets, so many things left unsaid, we are fast approaching the finale and all I can think about is that I have sincerely enjoyed this drama to the fullest and that I wished it lasted longer , 12 eps are not enough for me personally.
We have been very lucky with Idol I, dramas like this, well done, and for that addictive, are not easy to find . Everybody involved did such a terrific job & have top notch acting skills.
Not a big fan of childhood connection trope in dramas because it often seems forced BUT i'm very happy that it actually worked here in this drama and was done really well and so beautifully explained too in the park scene!
Some people just can't understand 'slow burn romance' & start blaming the leads for lacking the chemistry just because there's no kissing scenes yet. Don't worry guys, you still have four episodes left, chill. 😴
Some people should once again go through the 'Genres' of this drama please!
