I guess I'm confused at your bitterness towards fujoshi who like fluffy nonsense. Im just saying that enjoying stupid fluff is not exclusive to fujoshi. BL depicts same sex relationships, but usually isn't representative of queer identities. That's the kind of awareness I need when watching BL.

what is with the constant mention of "western fujoshi" lol? haven't watched this show yet, but as a dude, tension-free romances with idiotic conflicts are fun to watch sometimes. depends on the show obv, but i'm not always looking for shows with drama and trauma (i have enough of that in my real life, lmao). just like people find comfort in straight romance, people can find that in gay romance too.
