Sure if you like dominating fl and a more submissive ml. The princess is sensual, nonchalant and hot tempered (having escaped an abusive marriage alliance so she's just trying to protect herself), while yan shang is as cool as the jade, smart, gentle and is the most patient guy ever. He caught the princess's eye while they were at Lingnan and tried to use the opportunity to climb the ladder. Lots of steamy scene along the way...ml is clueless 90% of the time lol. They eventually became a power couple at the end. You can kinda get a gist of it, i dont want to spoil too much

I agree, was abit strange to see mu wan yao in pastels as shes known for her crimson dress. But its still early to tell, hopefully we can see her in red soon
