be serious choi woosik has zero chemistry with literally anyone he is THE downgrade
My point here is simple. Somin is the downgrade. I don’t care about chemistry, that’s not the issue for me. The argument is about their career reputation, and based on that, it’s obvious, woo sik is more reputable, THATS WHY I SAID SHE'S A DOWNGRADE. Somin should stay away from Woo sik, who’s established and reputable. Woo Sik himself is not even having it, anyway, look at the bts.

Y'all somin fans always shift the blame. If something feels lacking, you blame the co stars, the director, anyone but her. Why not hold your idol accountable for her own choices? Her career trajectory is a mess precisely because she keeps picking bad projects. That’s on her.

It’s okay to admit she’s lacking and stop scapegoating everyone she’s worked with. She isn’t smart or strategic enough to choose projects that elevate her and maybe she just doesn’t have the talent to back it up. If she did, why do other artists in her agency end up with better roles and stronger careers? The truth is, she lacks vision, talent and keeps making poor decisions, and that’s why she’s stuck where she is.

Stop blamingggg, she's not that smart and great.

Chemistry isn’t the issue here 😂 It’s about who has the better filmography. Somin is not it, woo sik is more reputable than her, that's why I called it a downgrade

What’s your definition of a successful career? 😂

Somin has been in the industry for 15 freaking years, yet she’s never won a prestigious award, doesn’t have luxury brand deals, has a weak filmography, never even been invited in prestigious events, never been in popular big magazine cover issues ,and most of her projects are just repetitive romcoms. She isn’t the great actress you make her out to be.

Do you really think success is measured just by having a lot of projects or being older in the industry? Kim Dami only debuted in 2017 but she’s already CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED and recognized as a talented actress. That’s what success looks like. Comparing her to Somin doesn’t make sense. Kim dami is way WAYYY out of her league, and honestly, somin can’t keep up. There are already many newer actresses who have earned critical acclaim while somin is still stuck doing cliché romcoms with the same redundant plots 😂

Yes I saw alchemy of souls, what's the big deal? Her character in aos is still romcom but just with fantasy. Nothing special. She's lucky, that she's been casted in aos, thanks for the director, she finally has the highly rated drama, first time yeah?😂 But we're talking about her acting skills and career here. She's still a bad actress af.

So if your idea of success is simply having a long filmography, then you don’t really understand how to spot a mid actress/actors. And let’s be real, somin is mid. No matter how you look at it, she has no real impact in the korean acting industry. She makes people enjoy her make faces, funny scenes in silly dramas. But that's just it. And people call it a great actress already??! 😂 what a joke.

And as for Woo sik, do I even need to explain? 😂 He’s clearly MORE REPUTABLE and established than somin, and I’ve already laid out the reasons why.

Stay stanning a mediocre actress like somin, no ones forcing you not to. I'm just stating facts.

More like Somin massively downgraded suddenly, ALL her past leading men are much better 😅Jung Hae In, Lee Min…
If you don’t like him, that’s your personal taste, I won’t question that. But you can’t change the fact that he isn’t a downgrade at all. He has career experience, a solid filmo, has worked with great directors, been cast in an Oscar winning movie, and gained recognition. Has worked with critically acclaimed actors and female leads. That is NOT a downgrade. Somin could never.

because cheap kdrama like this doesn't prioritze western/europe countries lol. It will be costly for them to release…
You missed my point. Only high budget shows tend to get global releases, usually their original or tv/ott hybrids (like snowdrop, a shop for killers, moving, nine puzzles, tempest). Those shows are available in germany, right? I’m talking specifically about would you marry me, which I explained why isn’t airing globally. Some of the dramas you mentioned aren’t cheap because it's not only made by sbs studio, they’re hybrid productions, and global availability really depends on the distribution deal. Typically, they don't include other regions like yours when the market is small. And would you marry me, on the other hand is only produced by sbs free tv channel, the region is expected to be limited not even gonna be all regions in Asia. It depends on the deal, it can still be global in later months, you can wait for an update lol. Hope that clears things up.

ps. I don't stan mid actors/actress lol they're way wayyy better than the wymm casts combined 😂

You can already tell from the production team itself. SBS, which is a free tv channel in south korea. The plot is generic, the actors aren't A-list (though woo sik is atleast a reputable actor because of his movies) and it doesn’t look like a high budget drama. Its release is limited because it’s not really aiming for a global audience. Usually in cases like this, either SBS pays Disney+ to release it internationally (mainly asean) to reach other viewers or Netflix doesn’t pick up the drama because they don’t see the potential. So the option for SBS would be Disney+, but the deal doesn’t include a global release. But as I said, it can be release globally or not, but it takes time and that only depends on the deal. The article can be misleading though, read at your own risk.

The K-drama will also be available globally through the streaming platform, Disney+. Biggest joke ever, if it's…
because cheap kdrama like this doesn't prioritze western/europe countries lol. It will be costly for them to release it globally, especially if the drama isn't marketable like this. Sometimes tho, they will release it later on (after 3 months or years) but that really depends.

Come on now she has played calm, chaotic, silly characters. She has so much range though I have skipper a couple…
Yessss you’re making things up in your head. I was just sharing my opinion about her. You were the first one to start arguing with me about my OWN opinion and you're crying because I don’t like Somin’s acting? If it’s not about her, then who?? My very first comment was about Somin, so why are you jumping into my comment if you’re not even talking about her? How did you even end up here arguing with me?

Somin started her career in 2010 while Jong Seo only started in 2018. Don’t compare her to Somin, dragging another actress to validate her mid acting career. As I said Jong Seo is in her own league and she still has future projects ahead of her. Don’t deny that other people also noticed that Somin is stuck in romcoms, not just me and ohmygoooossh I'm not making things up it's a fact, check her filmography lmao. And you’re still insisting I underestimated the romcom genre, even after I already explained myself. Please stfu if you can't understand
