interesting story concept but not a good delivery
I started this with low expense and needless to say they were met but no further than that.as many other reviews say it’s a cool concept of a story. the theme of trying to learn to love again after many betrayals and generally healing and finding yourself is really good I just don’t think the show did it justice.
it was very unserious at times with topics I wish were talked about in a more mature and serious matter, for example the reconcili of Pat and Dean for example as well as the meeting of Dean and her ex.
Pat and Deans relationship in general seemed very onesided and I honestly didn’t even want to root for them the more I watched. it’s okay to be hurt especially after what dean went through but the way she treated Pat was just horrible and not at all my thing (I’m saying this as someone who loved harmony secret and denied love so toxicity isn’t something I don’t enjoy, it just has to be done right).
Love and Rains relationship though was surprisingly healthy and good tho I found that at times the chemistry was lacking and they didn’t really convinced me they were in love.
the relationship between love and her mom was a very nice change I loved them together and it was very sweet seeing them interact.
a lot of the scenes felt either rushed or unnecessary and it sadly didn’t catch my attention.
in conclusion it’s not a bad show but it’s not good either so if you want an easy watch that you can out on in the background then it’s a solid pick but sadly not something I’d actively recommend watching

tragic but beautiful
I watched this on a whim when I was just looking for something to play in the background but omg this was such a beautiful piece of art. I loved how most of it was just silent or very quiet and let the watcher sit in the grief and memories the main character was experiencing. I also espec loved the contrast of the scenes where it was much brighter and colorful whenever the other woman was there and how bleak and dull it went without her. it was very sad and heartbreaking but told in a beautiful way. I also enjoyed how the story wasn’t about what’s being portrayed in the movie but more what isn’t, like the relationship between the two women, the circumstances of how and why it happened the way it did. I wish more movies used this sort of storytelling because it oftentimes makes it so much more tragic (at least for me).I’d definitely recommend it if you like sad, short, beautiful movies that won’t say much but still speak volumes.
