JimmySea's best chemistry-- yet the storyline was rather lackluster.
JimmySea's chemistry is top tier, and episodes 3-6 were a solid run. However, the show does fall flat in making a coherent storyline with the conflict that we were introduced to in the first episode, making the overall resolution unsatisfying as viewers knew who the main antagonist was from the very beginning, while also being confused as to what the root of the conflict is. The secondary couple were basically flat! Not a lot of development on their end. I believe if they removed the subplot where the ex appears in episode 8 (as much as I enjoyed the comedy), and then cut out all the scenes with the secondary couple, the show would have been able to craft a more coherent storyline.
8 is my enjoyment rating, as I am a lover to top tier fluff, but if I was being honest, cohesively speaking, I'd give the overall quality a 5.5/10. Another gripe I have with the show is the lighting, as everything looks so whitewashed and pale-- lacking in color. But nevertheless, I still enjoyed this show quite a bit, as JimmySea's chemistry really EXPLODED here. I thought they couldnt get more romantic than MhokDay, but here I am, proven wrong by ThapIn. They have my whole heart hehe.
