can we STOP the "siblings but not siblings "plot wasted good cast
It's pretty common in Chinese stories for neighbors or close friends to be treated like family. A lot of novelists use this trope when they don't know how to write a proper childhood-friends relationship. It feels unnecessary at this point because it's so overused.
