I’ve watched almost half of L&P now, and I completely agree with your point about Li Xun—he’s definitely seen as a “bad boy” type in Asia. Personally, since I was mostly raised by my grandmother, who’s a very spirited woman, I relate to his character. She always taught me to keep moving forward, be courageous, and not dwell on the past, and I’m proud to have inherited that outlook. That’s probably why I really appreciate Li Xun’s personality. I’m enjoying L&P so far! Do you have any good C-drama recommendations? I also watched The Starry Love and ended up liking it much more than I expected.

What a great review! I don’t think I’m too late to start watching this, haha. My first C-drama was "When Destiny Brings the Demon," which also stars Arthur Chen. Honestly, I totally fell for his acting and he is incredibly handsome. I’m planning to watch L&P this weekend when I have a lighter workload. Please share your thoughts on "When Destiny Brings the Demon" too—I’d love to hear your perspective! Personally, I’ve already watched it three times. I never expected to become such a fan of C-dramas!
