Trivia Zhang Rishan does not appear in the novel, Sand Sea, despite appearing prominently in its television adaptation Tomb of the Sea. A lot of what is done by Zhang Rishan in Tomb of the Sea is done by Xie Yuchen in the novel.

Oh, you mentioned Qishan not Rishan in your previous comment that's why I thought you're talking about him.
Zhang Rishan (张日山) is a supporting character in the television series The Mystic Nine and Tomb of the Sea. He appears briefly in Ultimate Note.
He is part of the Zhang Clan, but under Zhang Qishan's line.[5] He was a lieutenant during the Republican Era in The Mystic Nine. He later heads the Nine Clans Association in Tomb of the Sea.[6] Since he retains his youthful look in Tomb of the Sea, he likely has the longevity of the Zhang Clan.[7]
In Tomb of the Sea, Zhang Rishan has a very similar tattoo to Zhang Qiling.[8] His tattoo is on his right chest, shoulder, and back. It is not mentioned what the mythical creature is, but its face has some features of a dragon with two horns, its body has scales, four claws, and the tail of an ox. The entirety of the creature cannot be seen, but it has similarities to the mythical creature, qilin.[9] Despite this, the tattoo looks different than previous qilin tattoos seen in the shows[10] and some fans disagree over whether the tattoo is a qilin.
The production team of the show has indicated that the tattoo may have meant to be/or is the mythical creature, qiongqi. While the show was airing, Xu Lei, author of the novels and screenwriter of the show, posted an interview of him answering questions about the TV adaptations. In the comments of the post, a user asked him whether Zhang Rishan's tattoo was a qilin and if only the patriarch could have the qilin tattoo. Xu Lei answered that Zhang Rishan had a qiongqi tattoo and that the inner family has a qilin tattoo.[11] Additionally, on the shows' official Weibo in an edit, a creature behind Zhang Rishan stands opposite Liang Wan's phoenix. Zhang Rishan's creature has feathered wings and loses its scales more resembling a qiongqi than a qilin.[12][13] It was also revealed in Ultimate Note that the Zhangs that follow Zhang Qishan have the qiongqi tattoo.[14] Zhang Rishan makes an appearance in Ultimate Note but his tattoo is not shown.
Xie Lianhuan and Sanxing, why didn't they have the same face when they were young in this version?
They're related by blood, I think? Wu Xie and Xiaohua are cousins. And Xie Lianhuan and Wu Sanxing look alike. Even in the group picture, Wu Xie thought it was Wu Sanxing, but it was actually Xie Lianhuan. The one who took that photo was indeed Wu Sanxing.

I haven't seen any other series of the same storyline. This is the first one and I absolutely loved it. But there…
He has a long life. He's a Zhang Qiling(patriarchal name) but not his real name, no one knows his real name. Every Zhang Qiling has a long life. If you're Zhang Qiling, your face won't get old and you won't die too. Unless, you were k1ll3d or has a complications. He's the last descendant Zhang Qiling. He's like an empty shell before he met Wu Xie and Fatty, he forgets who he is everytime he encounters bronze thing that can make you forget(based on my understanding in Post Restart). Lao Yang was mentioned too in The Los Tomb 2, the main actors there was Cheng Yi and Huo Minghao. He was mentioned too in the novel. He's either a dead(ghost) or a living person. He can make clones with the use of the Bronze tree thing.

Yes, Wu Xie was trained to be Qi Yu. But Wu Xie is really a descendant of Wu Clan. It's because there's "It" enemy. And this "It" us actually a "Wang Clan". The 10th Clan in Mystic Nine.
