One of the best of 2025 (for me)
Everything in the story has its purpose, even if it doesn't seem like it at first.The OST superb.
It has a great balance of comedy and seriousness, the story itself is very dense so the comedy is very much appreciated, and it never falls into cringe territory.
The main couple's chemistry is amazing, they share so many little moments it's impossible not to root for them, you can truly feel they are bounded by fate.
Overall amazing drama, the only fault is some casting choices (at first, it's jarring, towards the end the actress improves so much, I'm happy for her)

Give it a try
It's more character driven than plot driven. The acting is superb and you end up caring so much about each character, suffering with their los losses and celebrating their victorias.Nothing ever goes as planned, like life itself.
Jun Ho and Min Ho deserve all the awards, amazing chemistry.
The production did an unbelievable job with the props and the late 90's setting.
OST catching as hell, Updraft and Did you see the rainbow will be forever in my mind.
Overall, best drama (for me) of 2025

Great premise wasted by bad casting
The ML looked way too young to be the age he was supposed to. Idk if it was because he was supposed to be my age that I couldn't look past it but the actor should be doing college settings or at least entry level jobs there's no way he's a CEO.The concept was so promising, especially since it involved gaming which I love, I just wish it had better casting.
I love the FL in Law and the City and I'm sure ML is talented but I could not get past the first episode. You could just tell he was a baby.
The story overall I have no idea how it played out but I just needed to vent my frustration, there are so many great actors in their late 20's early 30's and you couldn't get anyone else?

A great production of an unhinged fanfic
First, I'll star with what I loved.Since you read the premise, you know what you'll get. Yes it is unrealistic, but I don´t think anyone expected that. I loved it was sort of a love letter for fan culture. It was great to see all sides of fandom, from the good to the ugly, and also, the representation of a grown, succesful woman who enjoyed beign a part of a fandom as a hobby. People tend to think it's a "teenage" or "childish" thing but never bat an eye when men ar die-hard fans of sports too, but I digress.
The cinematography was great, this has so many beautiful scenes, very well shot. Soundtrack was great too.
The casting, superb. Everyone had chemistry with one another, from the Gold Boys members, to the prosecutor and the detective. You could actually bought they all knew each other from a long time before the start. Same with Hye-Joo and La-Ik, you could feel the history and the broken bond between them whenever they interacted.
Main couple, excellent. Their banter and flirting and of course their kisses 10/10.
Yes you do have to suspend your disbelief a little, in real life something like this probably would never happened, but it is like a fanfic adaptation, and a great one at that.
Now for the one thing I didn´t like, I believe the murder mistery could´ve been handled better and tbh at some point I actually lost interest on who the culprit was. Anything they could've done would've been meh to me cause I don't think it was handled well and I did not like at all mental health issued being the reason for the murder.
The final episode, I loved. It was cute, sweet, everything resolved, lots of cute scenes, everyone happy.
I do recommend to watch, always keeping in mind it is a fanfic, don't expect the logic of the real world here.

This was whack but I ate it up
Would I rewatch it? NoWould I recommend it? No
But man I enjoyed this. This falls into the "so bad it's good category.
All the characters in the market were my faves.
Na In Wo and Seohyun had great chemistry and were great in the comedy scenes. Hopefully they can work together again.
The wig in the end, pure comedy gold. Where did they get a wig so cheap? Why did they not simply said she dyed her hair of something.
The story was all over the place, the sets were so tacky, sfx ugly but trust me when I say I had a great time watching this.

Got a bad case of second lead couple syndrome
A very curious premise that made me suspend my disbelief a lot as a doctor myself, terrible violation of HIPAA and medical ethic, a lot of crimes in this drama lmao.I did found it funny and the OST so catchy.
I loved Lee Shin and wanted more from him and 2nd FL.
The second part of the story lost me a bit but I was already too invested to leave.
Overall a very fun story, just don't ovethink it too much.

I honestly expected the 2 FL to end up being sisters and the perfect image of the father to drop.

Me quedé todo el rato esperando a que pasara algo
Drama muy bonito con una premisa que prometía mucho pero me quedé todo el rato esperando ALGO, algo que avanzara la trama.Simplemente me aburrí. No había nada que me hiciera querer ver el siguiente capitulo.
Tampoco me pude tomar en serio lo de los viajeros suplentes, ojalá tener algún día esa cantidad de dinero para pagarle a alguien que viaje por mi en vez de simplemente ir yo. Solo me hizo sentido con la historia de Ginny.
Por ultimo el póster te hace pensar que será un romance y no es asi.
