Good, but could be better. The potential it has is amazing
This could have been so much more, as the story had serious potential, but it fell flat somewhere in the middle and gradually lost its edge. Honestly, the relationship between the two main leads was toxic. While they didn't end up in physical altercations, they had no trust in each other. One being too insecure and the other not caring enough about the other's feelings. Their relationship was a push-and-pull that lasted the entire series.
Let's start with Jin. Jin's character was way too careless with Bbomb's feelings. The entire time, it felt like he was barely in a relationship with him. Jin seemed as if he was only in the relationship because that's what Bbomb wanted. He barely showed interest, continued to flirt with others, was dismissive of Bbombs' attempts to reach out, and, not to mentio.n, they're trust is abysmal. That's me being generous. Jin seemed more interested in pleasing his seniors and trying to ignore the fact that he was in a relationship with Bbomb.
Bbomb, on the other hand, is extremely insecure about his place in Jin's life. Rightly so. Jin has never done anything but give him reason to doubt, especially with Som Som and that Senior. And because of this insecurity, he keeps getting jealous, which upsets Jin. This leads to their whole Tide and Moon situation... That's how much push-and-pull game they have. You should never have to constantly wonder if your partner is cheating. The moment that happens... Just leave.
They had the chance to have insane chemistry, but it would need more episodes for Bbomb and Jin's characters to develop. Bbomb deserves better than having to wonder if he is loved, and Jin needs time to mature and accept his relationship with a man. If this series had at least two more episodes, I think this series would be amazing.
So, would I recommend it? Yes, it has merit, and it's a good watch. Just very frustrating.
