WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT??
It started off so well with a unique, interesting story and just one paranormal element, and then suddenly turned into a parallel world with some kind of goddess or whatever that was supposed to be.And don’t even get me started on the characters. Half of them had no purpose. There’s literally a character they just forgot about?? The detective who did everything (served looks) except his actual job?? The boyfriend who died for absolutely no reason??
It honestly feels like they had a cool idea but had no clue how to make it make sense. So many unanswered questions: where did the lines even come from? Why could she see them since birth? How did they make those glasses? Why were they so obsessed with making people see the lines? And why were people losing their minds over it? Like… it really wasn’t that deep 😭🙏

really fun to watch
Loved it so much and enjoyed every bit of it! I watched it after Weak Hero, and dare I say, I enjoyed it way more. I know people hate on it because the fights are unrealistic, but honestly, I think that made it more fun and enjoyable to watch. I LOVED the OST and their friendship was so cute. The only thing I’d comment on is that one character we didn’t see much of that kept appearing out of nowhere. It was a bit confusing, cause I thought he would have a more important role, but I think we’ll have that in season 2, so it’s alright.

kang ha-neul looked fiineee
Honestly, I think the movie was really good and super interesting. The fact that everything was streamed by the ml added such a unique aspect to it, and Kang Ha-neul’s acting was absolutely top-tier (added to the fact that he looked extra fine). However after finishing it I found myself quite confused, and I don’t know if that was due to the fact that I had a poor watching experience since the subtitles were terrible (they literally gave me a headache) or because the movie itself gets quite confusing towards the end.
Overall, the movie holds a strong message about the reality of media, and I think they portrayed it in a really creative and interesting way.
