the production and supporting actors, although i hate to say supporting actors because they all had their brilliant scene on their own especially the elders i found myself held in breath on some scene that is how amazing they are.
i am glad they are all getting the love they deserve. the number of hours spent watching and waitingggg for each episode is soo worth it. and im gonna do it again in a few days.

in all fairness to chen heyi at first i thought his portrayal of the main villain xia jin shi was a bit flat. but on the last episode he did up his game esp the scene including the empress dowager of jinxiu. 👏👏
