I already had this drama on my watch list since last year because of Lu Yuxiao. She is my favourite actress ever. She is unbelievably beautiful, and her talent? Chef’s kiss. Her acting just keeps getting better with every drama.
I have never felt this empty after finishing a drama since Lighter and Princess. This is genuinely one of the best dramas I have ever watched. It is so healing. The leads are mature and confident in what they do. Cheng Xingxu and Lu Yuxiao’s chemistry is top notch. They felt so natural that at times I genuinely felt like I was interrupting something private between them. Their interactions were quiet, warm, and so adorable. Everything about this drama was done beautifully. the plot, storyline, acting, OST, cinematography, background, and overall atmosphere. It captured my heart completely. Their relationship was built on communication, trust, and genuine love, which made it feel so real.Unlike most dramas with CEOs and unnecessary drama, this one felt deeply human. The characters were written and portrayed with so much care. There was no unnecessary conflict, no dragging, and the last two episodes were focused on the couple mostly and was handled well, so the ending didn’t feel rushed. Both leads are absolute eye candy. Lu Yuxiao is breathtakingly beautiful, and Cheng Xingxu is one of the most handsome men I’ve ever seen. The cinematography was stunning, especially the Rongcheng scenes, which felt magical and visually pleasing. The director did an amazing job. I am so grateful that I decided to watch this without hesitation. I have never loved a drama like this before, and I don’t think I ever will again. Also make sure to wait until the ending credits of the last episode to finish because there’s a tiny bonus scene at the very end. Don’t miss it.
