Consistency and adaptation are what make it perfect

Personally, I found the acting to be excellent. You love every character, even the one who should be the villain. The scenery is beautiful, the shots are gorgeous, KengNamping and TleFirstOne's chemistry is stunning. The OSTs are each and every one of them gorgeous. The intro gave me chills. The production was focused on every detail. It's not completely focused on the BL, but rather gives us history, culture, a family and generational plot, and above all, it respects the original novel. Of course, you can feel the plot dragging on, but that's what forms the story. People often expect epic fights or explosive moments, but I appreciate the story's consistency and the plot, which many series don't take the time to detail. It's what connects everything in the end.

I saw people who thought that Namping's acting wasn't the best, but I disagree, we're talking about Khem, a boy who has lived seeing ghosts all his life, of course he won't be afraid of them in general, he's already at a stage where he's resigned so it wouldn't make sense to see him so emotional, but he still maintains a hope of being saved, while Paran being a shaman and being connected to his spiritual side makes him more serene and upright in his thinking, but he will have this constant fight between what he believes is right and what he feels is right.

If you don't like slowburn or a story that isn't completely focused on romance, maybe this series isn't for you, but I would recommend giving it a chance if you could.
