Another Missed Chance: Still No Genuine, Tender Story for Them.

I honestly keep wondering when Pond and Phuwin will finally get a series that truly embraces a warm, gentle, and emotionally sensitive kind of storytelling. Both of them have so much potential for softer, more heartfelt narratives, yet they almost never get projects that let them shine in that way. To be completely honest, Fish Upon the Sky is the only one of their works that I genuinely found pleasant.

These heavy or artificially dramatic plots are starting to feel exhausting. I’d love to see them in a story that’s tender, well-crafted, and emotionally honest, something that feels natural and truly genuine. And I doubt I’m the only one who feels this way. We Are felt very superficial and lacking any emotional depth, and NLMG didn’t resonate with me either, once again falling into that kind of forced darkness that doesn’t flow naturally.

I really hope that someday they get the chance to star in a project with the softness, delicacy, and emotional warmth of something like ATOTS or MLC.

Honestly, I didn't enjoy it.

With all sincerity, I don’t understand why some people are so eager for artificially ‘raw’ stories that end up not feeling romantic in any way. A BL is supposed to be romantic. I get that the plot revolves around a triangle and that this atmosphere is inevitable, but nothing felt pleasant to me, I’m sorry. I hope we can see OffGun in a warm series someday, besides Theory of Love.
