I really wanted to know why are people disappointed? The ending was so good. But you have to observe it. It's a story about Baek Ahjin not about others. The ending returns Ah-jin to the core theme of her character: survival. Even when the documentary ruins her public image and the final confrontation ends in disaster, she does not die. She survives the fall that kills Junseo. This moment echoes something she once said as a child when she attempted suicide: "I am not easy to kill." It becomes prophetic. She survives because that is what she has always done - endure, adapt, crawl her way out, even if it means emerging alone and carrying the weight of guilt. In the end, Ah-jin's punishment is not death. Death would have been an escape. Instead, she must live with the consequences of her actions, her losses, and her trauma - left to begin again with nothing but her instincts and her remorse. Her story closes where it began: with survival. A cycle of abuse, ambition, greed, and resilience. She rises, she falls, and still she endures.

Who is moon do hyuk and why does he want to fuck her life ? No explanation for that till the end...
Moon do hyunk is a psychopath. He loved to toy with people like he did with his first wife.

people saying the ending made no sense bc ahjin survived but her life is over…yea that‘s the point of an open ending. now we sit & wonder forever what she‘ll do. we‘ll forever think through the many possibilities of where she could go & what would realistically happen..
And her being alive and in a loop of trauma and survival is the lifelong punishment
Jae o's ending was happy in his way.

I preferred the ending of Weptoon, they did it like their ass and they didn't even give a kiss, I'm very angry,…
Are you disappoint because you didn't get any kiss scene??😂

Ahjin is lucky in survival but not lucky for stable life. Even if she managed to survive again, she never can have a stable life.
Many people didn't like the ending but for me it's a perfect ending.
One of the best psychological kdrama. It makes me questioned myself. What if someone like Ahjin came into my life ? What if I crossed the path with someone like her ? What will I do if I was in her position?

Title Dear X Spoiler
Everyone received the ending they deserved—except Do Hyunk.
Ahjin had a tragic ending. She lost her people, her fame, and everything she had built for herself.
Jae-o had a happy ending in his own way. His only wish was to help Ahjin, and he fulfilled that with his final breath. For him, that was happiness.
Jun-seo had a sad ending. Even though everything went according to his plan, Ahjin survived, and he died watching her live. I’m sure that must have devastated him.
Jun-seo’s mother received exactly what she deserved.
But Do Hyunk didn’t get what he deserved. With his power, money, and intelligence, he could get anything he wanted, so giving him a sad ending wouldn’t have been logical.

In the end, I loved the conclusion of both the webtoon and the drama.
In the webtoon, Ahjin took her revenge on Jun-seo by erasing his existence from his child’s life, and she ended up alone.
Technically, the drama delivered the same —she got her revenge simply by surviving, and she still ended up alone.

The villains survived and the innocents died?!! What a shitty ending
Who is the innocents one ?? Everyone did bad things. Only Jae o was least bad one and he got a happy ending. He always wanted to help Ahjin and he did at the end of his last breath. So,for him, it's a happy ending. For ahjin, it obviously bad ending. She lost every single thing she have. Being alive isn't a good ending. Everyone have to die that's not mean everyone get a sad ending. It's a complex dark story. Not all can understand it

Yes en jaeo too
Do hyunk have everything. It isn't easy to beat him. It feel realistic that nothing happens with him. There are many bad people in our world who did wrong things but nothing happened with them because they have power

Clearly this drama isn't for you. This drama is too dark for you to understand. Why would she feel regret when she is sociopath? Did you expect morals from a sociopath?? It's so stupid to expect. This drama is reality check. It happens in real life. A person who have power can do anything but at the end nothing happens with them. How can someone punished him when he have everything to save him ??

The ending was perfect. Everyone got whatever they deserve especially Baek ah Jin. She lost everything... Her fame, people Everything she had.
Dead would be happy ending for her. In ahjin's pov, she is happy because she is alive. But actually she is happy? No, her life will be more miserable. I happy with that they didn't make her character good. And give her a worst ending.
I feel bad for Jae o. This scene was so emotional

I just have some doubts my people1.First is actually beak ah jin didnt want to marry heo in gang in the first…
In gang and moon so hyunk are different. Moon do hyunk have the power to give her movie offers. He is more powerful than in gang. Because of him, ahjin still in this industry. Because of him, ahjin got an agency. Yk, money talks. But it's different for in gang. He isn't as powerful as moon do hyunk. If marriage things problem her career, moon do hyunk can cover it up with money
