It's not a rom-com or a soap, so if you don't like historical detective dramas about revenge and injustice, then…
I think your opinion is about you like more mysterious and hospital dramas because there is some kind of detective moments too. Not because you like historical detective dramas.

She had to undergo 3 months of intensive bootcamp training in Tang swordsmanship, horseback riding, close combat,…
Instead of a double, she played her fighting and hard skills by her own. This is vey difficult if she gets hurt..

Yea, fighting scenes were hard on her here, I've read she has some old back trauma. Though she plowed through…
The horse scenes, maybe was too cruel for her. I mean, she was scared I think when I watched behind the scenes. Oh my...

I like Bailu, I like the relationship between her and her subordinates like WR and the YD. Some of the cases are…
Then according to you, the villain only shows up sometimes but never does his evil schemes by itself and just use bad people as a chess game?

Hmmm, I don't know how to answer this but they were always together in scenes and like that they fell in love.…
Li Pei Yi reminded me of Huo Xuan😭
Her skills, her expressions. It is like watching her reborn character again.

I don't like detective drama much but I watched it anyway. I like the leads πŸ˜† The cases- some are exciting…
I never skip or else some kind of scenes won't make sense if it appeared again because of connections between one and another cases for example. I learned this lesson watching other dramas because I thought it was boring and decided to end fast.

I was really excited for this drama cos it had my two fave leads and my fave genres historical detective/investigation/…
It is not a romance drama. This is why you didn't like the end(I think).

(1) Crime case #2 reminds me of the Epstein files - girls raped by rich & powerful men.(2) Happy to see Zhao…
Jackie Chan, really? πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ My first chinese crush. But I think she is bringing her old character back(from Untouchable Lovers) in this role.

I hung up to ep 30 but I really really can't get past this. So I've decided to drop. I know this is not everyone's…
Will one of them die or just leave because feels guilty abou Li Pei Yi's past?
I mean, of course I will watch till the end, even if the ending will be bad or all the episodes will be boring, because I never drop a drama before leaving a comment about the end. Believe me, but I watched many dramas which stared boring but ended well.

This is one of those dramas where Bai Lu plays a badass character always serious and sometimes cries, but not about romance. And this is okay if your goal is to show the audience that not all the endings are happy, but justice it is out there in a historical mode.
And I like when Bai Lu acts like a general or powerful female leader because I like fighting scenes and I hope she won't die in the end like "Untouchable Lovers".

Agree. I recommend you to watch other dramas with Bai Lu badass acting, not soft and not just a warrior.

My first drama with her was some kind of support role, "Untouchable Lovers" where she plays two characters at the same time, but one is bad and other is badass general(with a sad and brave ending), The Legends too from soft to badass because someone killed her character's friend(a family too) and she proves how the good ones are actually the evil ones.

Then I watched many other dramas, but she was not a brave character like those. When I watched the trailer, I started to think that Unveild Jadewind is one more drama with her as general or powerful leader working for royal, but also against it sometimes because she wants justice and not rewards and also solve the impossible cases. And I was right. Also started to think there is a little similarity between this drama and "My Journey to You" because of the mysterious villain we don't know the real face and all the cases has something to do with him or her for example.
I am still watching because of recommendation, but I will leave my own opinion later.
