Title Peach Trap Spoiler
This will have a spoiler, so pls read at your own accord.

I'll talk about the two new episodes (5 & 6), as well as tackle my thoughts on what I believe are the characters' respective archetypes (Butterfly, Bee, & Pest).

[Eps. 5 & 6]

1. Going back to my previous comment here, I've talked about how some people are taking the kissing scene from episode 4 with a lack of maturity. Now that we know that Do Ha is not completely drunk, this brings me to the point that "consent" wasn't even an issue here (something that I completely forgot to add to my point from my previous comment). Clearly, when Do Ha woke up after that night (early in episode 3), his main concern wasn't "Why did someone kiss me without my consent?" but more of, "Who kissed me last night and what's their intention of kissing me?" assuming that he wasn't really bothered by the kiss. Again, I'm not here to change anyone's mind and just wanna defend Gyeon from the people calling him names.

2. Moving forward, I don't really get why these three hot guys are fighting over this dry-ass-flavorless tofu??? Gyeon is finally taking the courage to talk with Do Ha about the kissing scene and potentially confessing his love too, but instead of listening, Do Ha starts avoiding Gyeon and even telling him to "forget it like it never happened," when it's obviously a matter that should be talked about. Also, does he seriously not have any clue that Yeon Sang likes him? (Seriously, he needs to go back to kindergarten or something, WTH!) At this point, it's frustrating, and I'm 99% sure we won't be seeing any development from this character anytime soon.

3. I really like Yeon Sang and Ha Ram from these new episodes. It is safe to say that all of my theories about Yeon Sang from my previous comment are completely false, and it's just me overthinking the plot TT. As for Ha Ram, I do love how he spent time with Do Ha to ease the pressure from all of the things Do Ha's been handling. However, I somehow get the idea that maybe he's the one who hid Do Ha's phone, given how he doesn't really care about worrying anyone and even suggests having dinner first before finding the phone (this is me overthinking the plot again lol). As for that punch, it was very uncalled for TT. I'm very much team Gyeon and get that he's emotional at the moment, but that punch was clearly an exaggerated way of portraying his feelings.

[The Butterfly, Bee and Pest]

Butterfly (Gyeon) - I am very much aware that some people are not a fan of Gyeon's "possessive" nature, given the turn of events from episode 4. However, as mentioned by one of the commenters from my previous comment (Shannigans, if you're reading this, I love you & I'm plagiarizing your comment xx): "what is coming across as a bit possessive is just him struggling to convey his feelings and wanting to protect Do Ha," which is connected to my next point. Butterflies are once caterpillars too—that go through a different cycle of changes before fully becoming a butterfly. This is exactly what we're seeing Gyeon right now. Him worrying, being jealous, and being angry is him trying his best to convey his true feelings, deciding on how to act and what is the best possible decision he could make for himself, and most importantly, for the person he loves. By the looks of it, we're definitely going to witness Do Ha & Gyeon's backstory, and by then, we might witness how the caterpillar turns to a beautiful butterfly. I'm rooting for Gyeon and I'm really excited on how the ending will turn out.

Bee (Yeon Sang) - I do believe that the "bee" in this film symbolizes "support," given the fact that bees are well known for being pollinators (though, I know butterflies are pollinators too, but that's besides the point and let me cook lol). I feel like the ending will turn out to Yeon Sang accepting whatever Do Ha's decision is, and them staying as good friends (however, if it's not Gyeon, pls let this man be the endgame!!!). I really love this character so much, and I also can't believe that this is the actor's debut film (he's sooo good!).

Pest (Ha Ram) - He's the most "obvious" character for this archetype—for now. There are so many things we are still about to see from the last two episodes, and there are also many clues pointing to him being the "pest." Overall, I do certainly believe that whoever turns out to be the "pest" among the three of them will have some kind of redemption arc where he will apologize to the characters for something that he did. I'm just really getting the vibe from the ending that they will all stay as good friends (I mean, look at how they can all sit together at one table despite them all hating on each other lol).

Omg I just yapped so much! Again, these are all my insights, so don't take it to heart. I'm thrilled to know your insights too, so feel free to share them with me. Also, I can't believe the series is ending next week huhu. This has truly been a fun roller coaster. Love and light xx.

Great comment, full of insights. Thanks. However, your wisdom deals with real life, ie. shades of gray, and MDL…
Regarding your theory of whether Do Ha is the guilty one here, I don't completely agree with it (?). Though, I believe that what Gyeon did is a "call for the situation" type of moment (Not to justify his actions or anything, but anyone in reality would have taken the same opportunity of kissing the person they like. Like, hello? I would???). Also, I agree with a commenter here (Shannigans) suggesting that the camera work is to blame, since Do Ha was also kissing Gyeon back (if Do Ha considers it his "first kiss," does it mean he's not really bothered by it???). Honestly, people should grow up. These people act as if Gyeon killed someone.

Thank you! Not really here to change their minds (they could just get f#cked). I just don't really like how their comments reek of hypocrisy, because let's be honest, if this film only had Do Ha and Gyeon as the characters and there's no "competition" between the four of them, everyone would surely be flustered and over the moon for that scene.

yeah thanks for the spoiler alert but still put a spoiler on ur comment
Will do in the future (sorry)! I just really think that not hiding my comment will get more recognition, and I want people to actually pay attention to the message I'm trying to convey TT

Im also Team Gyeon from ep 1 and i want him to be the Doha's end game. Okay I see so many people moral policing…
This is exactly what I'm talking about! People are acting as if they're all innocent and pure. Gyeon is a fictional character meant to not be perfect—he will act "possessive," act irrationally, and be emotional—because that's love. Also, thank you for pointing out that he's not a pushover, and how he supports Do Ha's decision without putting too much pressure on him (something that I love about him even more). Appreciate how there are people who agree with me TT

I agree 100%. It struck me at the start of ep3, how hurt Gyeon must have been, but instead of leaving, he immediately…
Exactly!!! Seriously, I don't get the hate omg??? Also, rooting for him to be the butterfly! xx

This might have a spoiler (?), so read at your own accord.

"When the peach blossom blooms, it attracts butterflies, bees, and pests. So, be careful who you attract."

Such a beautiful quote from the film itself, and also something that I want you guys to keep in mind all throughout this comment.

I'm making this statement after watching the current four episodes. I want to start off by saying that I am Team Gyeon (Best friend)—for now. It bothers me how some people are taking the kissing scene with a lack of maturity. I'm not saying this to defend Gyeon, and I certainly believe that taking advantage of anyone when they're drunk is never a good thing, but we should be for real and acknowledge the fact that these kind of mistakes happen (especially when you like someone). I want you guys to understand that that kiss is not a kiss that holds any ill intention or malice. Do Ha and Gyeon have been best friends for God knows how many years, and we don't know how long Gyeon has liked Do Ha (I believe that he will not do anything that could seriously ruin his relationship with the person he loves). It is also worth mentioning that before the flashback of their kissing scene, the scene was left with Gyeon confronting Do Ha about the kiss, asking him if he "already knows" about it, even though Do Ha is brushing off the topic and telling him, "You're drunk." I believe that Gyeon is aware that what he did was wrong and he crossed the line with that move, which is exactly why he's already addressing the matter by bringing it up before Do Ha completely remembers the scene and gets mad at Gyeon for doing that without consent (which is a very mature move on his part, and something that made me even like him more). What we don't know is if Gyeon will apologize for what he did (honestly, I want him to, and if not, I don't love him for that TT).

In regards to Gyeon's personality throughout the episodes, I get why some people don't like his "possessive" nature towards Do Ha. However, something about him, and how he cares and teases Do Ha, made me in love with his whole character and how he portrays the "best friend" role very well.

Moving forward to Yeon Sang (Team leader), honestly, Yeon Sang is the type of guy that I would typically choose over someone like Gyeon (I love love LOVE office romance sm!). He's chill, calm, mysterious, and HOT (he can get this cookie bwkdjkskskskk). However, this brings us to my very own theory about the plot. Earlier in episode one, we witness Do Ha being terminated from the company, and not much detail is mentioned about it (we only know that he's framed by someone to get kicked out). This made me question why Yeon Sang is now suddenly appearing and being close with Do Ha after him being kicked out? Why now that Do Ha left the company did he start on making his move? Is he related to the reason why Do Ha has been terminated? Also, it appears every event is suddenly in his favor (e.g., the farewell party, him offering Do Ha a new job in the café, and them having a dinner at a fancy restaurant despite Do Ha insisting on treating him). It's just so performative. I've read some comments saying that there's a webtoon/novel about this film, but I've never read or seen it. I don't know if my theory is real, I hope I'm completely wrong (or maybe I'm just really judgmental like that lol). I love him so much and I would not complain if he's Do Ha's end game.

Now for Ha Ram (Barista), at first I don't really have any huge impression of him since he's the person with the least screen time. However, I started to get annoyed by his intrusion over time. Sorry for saying these things and I know many people also like him, but he seriously needs to stop showing up to every scene uninvited. Also, am I the only one who noticed that he kind of has an unresolved beef with Gyeon? Maybe there's something between them from the past? (I don't know). Seriously, I don't get why he hates him so much lol. Some people suggest that Him and Gyeon could make a good couple, I get that y'all are being delulu, but I'm not here for it lol. I don't hate Ha Ram and I know that we would see more of him in the next episodes, and I'm excited how his character would develop over time.

Overall, I really love this series so much! I've never been this hooked to a BL for quite some time now. Really, really excited how the story will unfold. Love and light xx.

P.S. Subin fans pls don't attack me for this, but Do Ha acts monotonously, and his character has little to no depth at all (Though, I love his recent scene where he chose to attend the interview of his dream company. We can also see him opening up more in the preview so I'm thrilled by that). I wanna add something that doesn't really matter in the series, it's the house number "47" where Do Ha and Gyeon lives. It's just cute how the number starts with the first letter of their name converted to numbers. What a cute and wholesome detail in the film. <3
