Drama of 2025.

When Life Gives You Tangerines is one of those rare dramas that quietly stays with you long after it ends. I finished this a long time ago, but it left such a strong impression that I finally felt like writing about it now. As a Netflix original, the production quality is solid, but what truly stands out is IU’s exceptional acting. She delivers a deeply nuanced and heartfelt performance, making every emotion feel real and earned. The drama is warm, reflective, and beautifully written, capturing life’s small joys and quiet sorrows with sincerity. Easily one of the best dramas I’ve watched in recent times, and definitely worth revisiting in memory.

A Riveting Rise Undone by Its Ending

Reborn Rich is an incredibly engaging and gripping drama that keeps you hooked from the very first episode. The highlight of the series is the powerful grandfather–grandson bond, which adds emotional depth and weight to the story. Their dynamic is intense, layered, and fascinating to watch, making every confrontation and quiet moment equally compelling.
The plot is smart, fast-paced, and addictive, with twists that make it hard to stop watching. However, the only disappointing part was the last two episodes, which felt weaker compared to the brilliance of the rest of the drama. The ending would have been far more satisfying if it had stayed true to the webtoon’s conclusion.
Despite that, Reborn Rich remains one of the best dramas overall, gripping, memorable, and absolutely worth watching.

Must watch

Reset is one of the best Chinese dramas I’ve ever watched. The storytelling is gripping, the pacing is tight, and every episode keeps you fully engaged. The acting is outstanding ,natural, emotional, and convincing, making it easy to connect with the characters. The plot is so well-written that it never feels repetitive despite the time-loop concept. It’s the kind of drama that hooks you instantly and doesn’t let go. I ended up finishing it in a single sitting because I simply couldn’t stop watching. A truly exceptional drama and a must-watch

Best drama of 2024

Marry My Husband is hands down one of the best dramas of 2024. The storytelling is addictive, but what truly elevates the drama is the cast’s stellar performances. Rachel Park is an amazing actress, she completely owns her role and delivers every emotion with conviction. Her chemistry with In-woo is top-notch, making their scenes both heartwarming and electric.
The villains deserve special mention as well. Both actors did such an incredible job that I genuinely hated them to the core which is the biggest compliment for any antagonist. Their performances added intensity and kept the tension high throughout the series. The story was so gripping that I literally took a Prime subscription just to watch this.
With its engaging plot, strong character arcs, and unforgettable performances, Marry My Husband easily earns its place as the best drama of 2024.

A Dark Thriller That Stole My Heart

The Flower of Evil is a drama I never expected to become one of my all-time favorites, but it absolutely did. Lee Joon-gi’s acting is nothing short of phenomenal. He delivers an intense, layered performance that makes you feel every emotion, from fear and guilt to love and vulnerability. His chemistry with Moon Chae-won is beautifully natural and emotionally powerful, grounding the thriller elements with genuine warmth and trust.
The child actor deserves special mention as well, the kiddo adds so much heart to the story and makes the family dynamics feel real and deeply touching. The balance between suspense, romance, and emotional depth is handled brilliantly, keeping you invested from start to finish.
A gripping, emotionally rich drama with unforgettable performances, The Flower of Evil is the kind of show that stays with you long after the final episode. Truly a masterpiece.
