if your best isn't Love in the big city, I told sunset about you or Not Me (maye Gelboys too and Shine?) then I fear this one has the right to be considered the best by some ppl just like others. Aside from those I just named, the flaws you found in the one could easily be found in any oher BL, hence why the points you highlighted as great shows why this one might have been more liked. Also this one is considered one of the best in the BL genre, most ppl here don't watch lakorn but lakorn quality dare I say isn't as good as this BL. Finally, those I named are ones who deal with queer struggles and identity on a deeper level, hence why Im saying some people might prefer those themes over dudes fighting in the mafia which seems less "serious and deep", but other than that, I think someone saying KP is their best BL isn't shocking
