Slow Pace but EmiBonnie slayed!
I did not really know what the plot or storyline was since I came in mainly for EmiBonnie. The pacing felt quite slow with a slightly toxic mysterious vibe. There were also some unnecessary scenes, and at the beginning, a few moments were hard to connect with due to the lack of backstory.
I found myself losing focus quite often because of the slow pace. Still, I stayed somewhat immersed because EmiBonnie really delivered. The acting and directing are good, but the story itself feels a little flat.
Honestly, it felt like Rak was the one doing most of the wooing towards Pam rather than Kawi. At times, Kawi and Rak gave off more of a couple dynamic than siblings.
I almost dropped the series since the first three episodes did not clearly show what they were building towards. But it does get better from episode four, which kept me watching.
