My theory is that real Chi Wen is dead now. I think he saved JL and made with JL the plan that he will impersonate him. In preparation, so that the dragon power would not get lost, he gave it to those 4 or 3(?) demons. After all, it is the dragon deity that controls the sect and if it were known the dragon deity is dead, I think the villain demon with its fragments (forgot his name) would have a better chance at rising again. After all, we see that JL is very concerned about stopping the demon.
omg today’s episode made me feel so emotional 🥹 but once again i’m left confused especially towards the…
Yes, this was already implied in many of the last episodes. Since Xiaowei fight it was probable that he was not the real dragon deity. And in one scene where you could see the dragon deity from behind (I think in WSG's vision after he got dragon power), you could clearly see that that was not Tian Jia Rui but another actor. JL puppet is based on his real self. Someone even said the memory with the fox has too many details to be fake. And the episode before that it was 100% confirmed that our "dragon deity" is not the dragon deity but the person Li Jie possessed in the vision. You could see Li Jies face change to JL/Tian Jia Rui.
but isnt JL a puppet made by chi wen?and chi wen has JL memory so they are technically one person rightthen butterfly…
Chi wen is actually JL. He is not the real dragon deity. In the illusion it was confirmed. First we saw the toy with Li Jie and in the last episode, when brother said "i don't look like you, you look like me", you could see Lie Jie's face change to JL (in the illusion you are always someone else, Li Jie was JL, just likeJL was Man Man). So that is his real identity.
I am currently at episode 10 and I will be honest: I find it kinda boring. Like I am not invested in the characters at all. And I love historical romance dramas from Yanxi to Fated Hearts , the Double and Prisoner of Beauty etc. This drama should have been right in my ally. Am I the only one? I don't even know why.
I have a question to the story telling: is it one glimpse at the present and then goes to the past and stays in the past for episodes or does it change between past and present?
