I've watched the 2012 Chinese version, and I think it's the best among all. It's more intense and dramatic, yet heartbreaking, and it does justice to the ending. Maybe it's because they set it in the 1930s? And the set was about celebrities and chaebols. Oh, I am nervous that Ji Chang Wook was pushed into sensual scenes he'd never done before. Because that's all he had left, whereas when it came to action, tention, playboyism, and kissing, he'd already mastered them all as best as he can.
I have mixed feelings, as some project of "Dangerous Liaisons" are about highlight dialogue. "Untold Scandal" was good overall but felt a bit boring. I hope they make it more dramatic this time around to keep people watching.
