Excellent Series to watch for authentic periodic dramas... satisfying to watch
Till now this series didn't disappoint me I am at 19th episode... every episode is meaningful and all the new characters are well narrated and well introduced and has excellent production value from costumes, the periodic sets and the makeup which are really authentic. The production values are very rich like the tea grinding and making set, which I think is true to how they used to make tea in ancient times. Every character is well cast and well acted and their performances are top notch like the character Wang Tiangui a crocked banker. I couldn't praise this series more and this comes from me who has watched more that 80 plus wuxia and Xianxia dramas. It is in par with Story of Yanxi palace and Story of Ming Lan to name a few which has female leads and nirvana in fire which are the best in the recent times. Frankly it should have been rated more that the recent Wuxia dramas in 2025. Must watch for fans who love to watch Chinese dramas.Was this review helpful to you?
Boring Fest
Other than lead actors name there nothing to drama though production values are good. Background music boring and snooze fest other actors acting is looking like plastic. Though initial opening is good after 30 min into first episode it's like a seeing an over emphasized revenge plot and the actor doesn't do justice for the role and background music is so boring not elevating the drama.Was this review helpful to you?
