Eunho wasn't mistaken about fate. The first fate she saw really belonged to Siyeol's friend. However, after the…
Really? Lol I thought it was the butterfly effect, you know? I thought if that rich guy wasn’t drunk driving, the ML wouldn't have been a replacement for his friend. But I kinda wondered why the first vision was so blurry but the second was clear.
You can’t hate a show because the lead actress doesn’t meet your beauty standard.
You can’t hate a show because the lead actor belongs in shows like K2 or whatever that comment meant😅 anyone can switch roles/play diverse roles.
You can't hate a show because you thought it was going to give war or dark vibes but instead it's giving fluff. A show not being what you expected does not mean it's bad. It's valid to feel disappointed, yes, but the show, in its new element which you didn't expect deserves to be given a chance.
You’re allowed to criticize logically, tell us with valid reasons why you think a show deserves a 1-star or 10-star rating.
I just learned that kdrama fans have fandom wars and I think that's what's going on here? I'm not sure lol.
Anyway, the first two episodes were fun for me… it could be boring for others, too, cause, well, life would be weird if we all liked the same things.
But boring doesn't equate bad, boring is subjective. While I’m not making an excuse for the show, most movies and books start slow on purpose for several reasons.
No, the CGI isn't bad. This drama isn't like DARK kdramas or anime (don’t compare it to Tale of the Nine-Tailed; both are gumihos, but with different elements, plot points, tone/setting, and themes). It’s a bit unserious, and they show it in every way. The gumiho herself is just passing through life having fun, being selfish, and a rebel mystical creature who doesn't think being human is worth it… Her reasons are quite VALID in my opinion.
I don't know about y’all but I like the butterfly effect point they used here. Helping that rich bastard put others at risk and change his friend’s fate left me torn because his friend is a good guy but then, I also wanted ML to succeed. So I kept wondering why fate couldn't just show mercy to both of them.
Someone mentioned that too much exposition is bad. Not really. Dramas with folklores etc have always used narration to show the past, present, the how, why, and when… motives and groundrules. And in this show, it was done properly. The rest of the drama would quite literally use the ‘showing technique’ a few ‘telling/narration’ at the beginning episodes doesn't equate bad.
Damn, the devil works hard but these bitches: Swan_123, rahiyariha, and Zyozyo14😂
If you hate something, you don't associate with it, in fact, after making your point (very illogical criticism), you leave because you really don't like it, yes? But you lots have spent hours here😂 Yes, the fans of the show did too but that’s expected of fans ESPECIALLY when there are people like these three sabotaging a drama with just TWO episodes.
Your hate comments are so funny and yet left me wondering why there are hate comments. Are the leads in a scandal or something? I’m confused.
I think he and NP are woefully mismatched and lack even the slightest bit of chemistry but saying he should dump…
Girl people comment on shows from 5 years ago it’s not the jab you think it is. And me, I was reading through. If you put a comment out there, is there supposed to be a deadline to reply?🥲🥲
I think he and NP are woefully mismatched and lack even the slightest bit of chemistry but saying he should dump…
Obvi… and I don’t know why we should care for their off cam chemistry. Literally annoying to an extent and why I lowkey hate fixed ships but i understand why they do it.
Initially I thought lousy writing is what plagued the Khem character but I’ve since come around to realizing…
He was the right actor for the role imo. I did not know him prior to the show and literally had to go look him up because I was genuinely drawn to him, let’s not act like everyone doesn’t have that one person they connect with in a show and for most bl fans it’s almost ALWAYS second couples no matter what lol. Moving on.
You’re talking about emoting, facial expressions and conveying them properly. All of which I saw Namping do. Namping is quite literally the opposite of Khemjira.
I could tell what he was feeling even with little words. However I think you didn’t think it was good and there’s nothing I can do about that.
No, Gun wouldn’t have. He’s not in his 20s and the character is literally written that way in the book. I fear even an Oscar winning actor wouldn’t be able to change the minds of those who think Khem was just a damsel in distress. That’s the point here, not the acting, the character. And you’re the only one who’s now talking about acting lol
Literally almost everyone could see how well Khemjira portrayed Jet to deceive Rhampueng but somehow the acting was bad?
Well, I can’t change your opinion so I will end it here. As someone who started the series not knowing who he was , I think he did great.
PS: This isn’t the first acting gig for these actors, kinda like their second? Keng, Namping, Tle & Firstone have all been in other works. Not sure why I am saying this.
Also, Firstone, who doesn’t love a funny and mischievous character? lol that’s why I liked Jet also.
I think he and NP are woefully mismatched and lack even the slightest bit of chemistry but saying he should dump…
They are not mismatched… and they do have chemistry. I literally had to look them up after the first three episodes dropped. So much so I had to watch DMD friendship (funny cause I hate reality tv) I don't know why y'all keep saying this.
Since the days of Kdrama I have had to watch fans hate on “weak” characters. It's almost as if everyone of us Irl is outspoken, agile, a no-nonsense person or strong.
You're voicing out criticism but you yourself don't use logic.
A young boy has been cursed from birth, saw his family suffer from it. Saw ghosts even before he could speak. Watched his mum die because of it and his dad dedicated his life to be a monk to protect Khem. That kind of life comes with loneliness and tiredness. Others would’ve taken their lives, fallen into depression, become hateful or a menace to the society but Khem wasn't any of that.
You say Khem is weak but me? I would have given up for so long. I would have killed myself or well, become depressed as hell. But when Jet told him about Master, he decided to give it one more try.
Y'all see humility, warmth, kindness and soft-spoken as weakness lol. I am so sick and tired of it.
You might like playful Jet, blunt yet, funny Charn, strict but hot Peem but me? I love Khem’s warm aura. It doesn't make him boring and it doesn't make him bland and that doesn't mean he has no chemistry with Master, I swear some of y'all amaze me.
I don't think it's bad either, but with the pacing and too many scene that go from past to present but I can never…
But that's what most shows have been doing with age thingy? I think they should use younger actors too but even the show I just finished watching they did the same thing 🥲 and I think that's lazy😒😒
I don't think it's bad either, but with the pacing and too many scene that go from past to present but I can never…
I understand but it just needs patience. A lot of psychological thrillers use that past and present technique fr… they use different timelines and also unreliable narrators to tell the story and we will piece everything together as we go🫠
Everyone is complaining that the show is boring and confusing, fine, no arguing with you but how does that make it a bad show?
It's just obvious it's not for you. I just finished “Had I Not Seen The Sun” another psychological thriller/mystery and it started with confusing, slow episodes because guess what?? That's how this genre is, it gets exciting as more clues and theories are dropped.
I'm taking ot personal because this is my favourite genre and y'all are just trashing it and rating low. Since when does confusing mean “bad”?!

Also not everyone celebrates or give a fuck about Christmas. You’re replying to anyways…
